CREW REST FACILITIES. The following facilities will be provided for crew rest while on layovers: a) LAYOVERS WHERE LEGAL CREW REST CANNOT BE PROVIDED: Over 5 hours A single occupant accommodation. *An on-duty layover period shall be from “block in” to “block out”. b) LAYOVERS WHERE LEGAL CREW REST IS PROVIDED: Single occupant accommodation paid by the company. c) Company-owned housing must include all amenities as specified in the attached Letter of Understanding in Iqaluit.

CREW REST FACILITIES. A Pilot away home base while on flight duty, deadheading, training, or authorized Company business, will be provided with single room accommodation at Company expense accordance with the provisions of Section, and shall paid a laundry and dry cleaning allowance of twenty (20) dollars for pairings which exceed a trip period of ninety six (96)hours. The Company shall provide adequate crew room facilities, and consult with the Meals and Accommodations (MAC) on issues related to crew facilities at all bases. When establishing hotel accommodation at new layover points or changing existing accommodation, the Company shall consult with the Meals and Accommodations Committee (MAC). Accommodation will be provided at a designated Long Hotel when the scheduled rest period is in excess of twelve (12) hours provided that it does not increase the cost to the Company. Long Lay over hotels will be by mutual agreement between the Company and the MAC. If due to operational delays, the rest period is reduced to less than twelve (12) hours the Pilot may be required to layover at an Airport Hotel. .OS For scheduled breaks away from a Pilots base, exceeding five (5) hours from ramp arrival to scheduled departure that occur in the same duty period, individual day rooms within reasonable proximity to the airport will be provided where available. When any significant substantiated deterioration of accommodation is reported writing by the MAC, the Company shall, within seven (7) days, investigate the situation and take appropriate action.
CREW REST FACILITIES. 1. If the Company elects to establish a crew rest facility at a domicile, it shall be a pilot-only facility and shall meet, at a minimum, the following standards: a. Clean and sanitary. b. Properly heated and ventilated. c. Adequate reclining seating provided.

CREW REST FACILITIES. Where reasonably available, the following facilities will be provided for crew rest away from home Base:
CREW REST FACILITIES. Where reasonably available, the following facilities will be provided for crew rest while away from home base: a) For scheduled on-duty rest over four (4) hours in duration, Company housing or a day-room; For off-duty rest for all layovers, Company housing (single room accommodation in Xxxxxxxx, if available) or a single room will be provided for each Pilot. It is recognized that if there are fewer than six (6) crew rooms available in Thompson, then the Company will endeavor to obtain a single room; Notwithstanding the above, where hotel or Company provided accommodations are not available, on short layovers, or in cases where the Company has had little previous notice, the Company will try to obtain permission for the crew to utilize the following: Nursing Stations, Police Stations, Hydro Houses, etc. If a Pilot is scheduled to overnight and does not require the hotel room, which is provided by the Company, he can advise Crew Scheduling who will cancel the scheduled hotel accommodation. The Pilot will be credited twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each Day that a scheduled hotel room is cancelled. The Company will provide adequate crew room facilities, and consult with the Meals and Accommodations Committee (MAC) on issues related to crew room facilities at all Bases. Prior to establishing accommodations at new layover points or changing existing accommodation, the Company shall consult with the Meals and Accommodation Committee (MAC). Additionally, on notice from the MAC, the Company will investigate accommodation complaints. Company staff housing must have a minimum of one sleeping room per occupant and adequate personal cleaning and cooking areas. Pilots shall only be required to share common areas when it is not possible to have their own areas due to all of the rooms being occupied. The Company shall provide all necessary materials including bedding, towels, dishes, cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. For hotels, Pilots will have their own room. If upon arrival the accommodations prove unacceptable, the Pilot will notify the Station Manager giving the reasons therefore, and request to stay at a hotel or alternate rest facility in that community at the Company's expense. If the Station Manager determines that accommodation is unacceptable he will immediately arrange for alternate rest facilities at the Company's expense, including ground transportation.
