Benefits Upon Reemployment. An employee who returns from military leave shall be entitled to all benefits that the employee held prior to that leave pursuant to the applicable provisions of USERRA. In addition, the employee will receive seniority credit and any seniority based benefits that the employee would have attained, had the employee remained continuously employed with the City. The employee may also be entitled to pension credit for time served on military duty, and it shall be the employee’s responsibility to contact and submit the necessary information to the pension system.
Benefits Upon Reemployment. Any individual who is reemployed on the regular faculty shall have any previous regular service apply as years of service for purposes of tenure, sabbatical leave consideration, and benefits, where applicable. The university shall have at least two (2) full semesters, exclusive of all leaves, following reemployment to determine whether to grant tenure. If tenure is not granted, the notice provisions in Paragraph 14 of Article 14 (Reappointment, Tenure, and Promotion Policies) shall be applicable.
Benefits Upon Reemployment. The District shall restore credit for illness, injury, or emergency leave and/or other cumulative type benefits, which are not used or compensated for at termination, to any former employee who is employed by the District in a certificated position. This pertains to all former certificated employees regardless of the date upon which they are rehired.
Benefits Upon Reemployment. Upon reemployment from layoff status under any of the provisions of this Article or as a result of obtaining District employment through a competitive recruitment process within eighteen (18) months of the effective date of the layoff, the affected individual shall regain his/her seniority date, resumption of accrual of sick leave credits on a pro rata basis for the remainder of that calendar year, and full restoration of all earned, unused sick leave on the books at time of layoff including credits earned, on a pro rata basis, for every month or major fraction thereof worked during the calendar year the layoff occurred, and resumptions of benefits with the waiting period set forth in the plans referenced in Article 12 Health and Welfare.
Benefits Upon Reemployment. If a Participant who is receiving benefits under the Plan is reemployed by the County, any excess benefits payable under this Article shall be treated in the same manner as his Pension payments under the Plan.
