Common use of Bereavement Leaves Clause in Contracts

Bereavement Leaves. A. Teachers shall be entitled to up to three (3) days bereavement leave per occurrence with pay in any school year for absence due to the death of a member of the immediate family of the teacher. "Immediate family" shall include: mother, father, brother, sister, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son- in-law, daughter-in-law, grandparents and grandchildren, like step-relations and partners.
