Overtime Crib Breaks. (a) An employee who is required to work for more than 2 hours beyond their normal ceasing time in any day will be allowed a paid crib break of 20 minutes at ordinary rates.

The Overtime Meal Allowance provided for in clause 29.5(b) of this Agreement is in full satisfaction of any claim for payment for this first overtime crib break. The applicable period of time for a meal or crib break, as provided for in this clause above, does not include time travelling to/from the place of work to/from the location of amenities.

In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two (2) hours or more, the Employee shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly. An Employee working overtime on a Saturday or working on a Sunday shall be allowed a paid crib time of twenty minutes after four hours work, to be paid for the overtime rate of pay.

Overtime Crib Breaks. An employee working overtime for two (2) hours or more after working ordinary hours shall be allowed a crib break of 30 minutes. This crib break must be taken no later than two (2) hours after the employee's usual ceasing time. An employee is entitled to a paid crib break of 30 minutes after the completion of each four (4) hours overtime worked as long as he/she continues to work after that crib break, regardless of whether the overtime is continuous with ordinary hours or not. The employer and an employee may agree to vary the timing of crib breaks worked during overtime to meet the circumstances of the work, but the employer will not be required to make any payment for crib breaks in excess of 30 minutes. All crib breaks shall be paid for at the appropriate overtime rate.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • Overtime Overtime will begin to accrue after sixty (60) hours in a two (2) week period averaged over the scheduling period determined by the local parties. Overtime will apply if the employee works in excess of the normal daily hours. Payment for overtime is as in Article 16.01.
