Calamity. A calamitous event is an event of significant nature such as flood, fire, earthquake, etc. In such instances, the unit member will exhaust available paid leaves leave prior to accessing the bank. Unit members who qualify for calamity leave will be able to utilize their sick leave prior to receiving donations from the leave bank.
Calamity. In the event school is closed due to weather-related calamity for more than thirty-six and one-quarter hours (36.25) (5 days) of instruction in a school year, teachers will be required to work or make up all work hours missed in excess of the first thirty-six and one-quarter hours (36.25) (5 days). Calamity. In the event a calamitous event necessitates the cancellation of the dates reserved by your school, the parties shall make a good faith effort to reschedule those dates for another equal amount of dates. In the event the dates cannot be rescheduled, then the school shall be entitled to a full refund of the registration fees for such dates and shall not be liable for the balance of the cost for such dates. This allowance for the return of the registration fee shall not be construed to include financial difficulties the school has in meeting the obligation of this contract.
