Call Back Assignments. This provision shall apply only to those employees designated as "confidential" as shown on Appendix A. Employees who are called back to work on an unscheduled, emergency basis at a time outside their regularly assigned work shift shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours pay at the overtime rate as provided in the overtime section of this MOU.

Call Back Assignments. The CITY shall pay a minimum of four hours at the rate of time and one-half to employees called back to work at times other than their scheduled shifts. Work Schedules Defined Work schedules for unit members shall be defined as follows:

Call Back Assignments. An employee who is contacted at home and asked to report to work must inform his/her Supervisor if he/she has used illegal drugs, is under the influence of alcohol, or has taken prescription or nonprescription medications which could impair job performance or create an unsafe work condition. Any employee who reports for duty as requested will be subject to the terms of the drug and alcohol policies set forth in this Article.
Call Back Assignments. A minimum of two (2) hours overtime compensation per call shall be paid to an employee who is called in to work, in addition to the standby pay to which such employee is entitled pursuant to paragraph 9.3.1. & 9.3.5 above, unless the call-back merges with the employee’s regular shift. Additional call assignments started within the two (2) hour guaranteed minimum do not start an additional two (2) hour guaranteed minimum; however, the time worked beyond the two (2) hour minimum will be paid at the applicable overtime rate plus the standby time rate. All callback time shall be portal-to-portal and shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Shift Assignment Should the University elect to establish a shift on any other schedule than the regular day shift (Monday through Friday) or to assign employees to work on any such shift, the employee(s) with the most seniority in the classification affected or to be assigned on such shift shall have preference in moving to such shift. If an insufficient number of employees in the classification elect to move to such shift, then the employee(s) with the least seniority in the classification shall be assigned to such shift. If positions or shifts are reduced or eliminated or movement of personnel to other shifts is required, then the seniority of the affected employee will prevail in the selection of shift, provided the affected employee can do the required work. Such shift preference is only applicable within the employee's classification.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, buildings, communities, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee’s consent prior to or during the term of the Agreement.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Contract Assignment You cannot assign this contract to another person nor sublet any part of the premises.

  • CESSION, ASSIGNMENT AND TRANSFER 30.1 The Licensee is not entitled to cede, assign or transfer any of its rights, title or interest in the Agreement without XXXXX’s consent, which consent must not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.
