Back to Top Official transfer credit evaluation takes place once a student is enrolled at Ashford University and all official transcripts have been received. Courses that meet more than one General Education requirement can only be applied to one area. A course cannot apply more than once unless it carries the required credit. One unit computer courses can be combined to fulfill the Information Technology Competency General Education requirement. Multiple courses may meet a particular General Education Requirement, however only one course is needed to satisfy the requirement. Minimum Call-Back Time An employee who is called in and required to work outside their regular working hours shall be paid for a minimum of two (2) hours at overtime rates unless the call-in is immediately prior to their normal work day, in which case there should be no minimum.
Call Back Time Any employee called back to work after completion of his/her regular assignment shall be compensated for at least two (2) hours of work at the overtime rate, irrespective of the actual time worked.
Entitlements Upon Return to Work (a) An employee who returns to work after the expiration of maternity, parental or pre-adoption leaves shall retain the seniority the employee had accumulated prior to commencing the leave and shall be credited with seniority for the period of time covered by the leave.
Failure to Return to Work If, upon the expiration of FMLA or CFRA Leave, or any District approved extension thereof including General Leave, an employee fails to return to work and no additional leave has been authorized, the employee shall be considered to have automatically resigned from his or her position. In such cases, the employee will receive advance notification of the District’s intent to implement an automatic resignation.
Modified Work/Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty.
Call Back Pay 1. When an employee returns to work because of an agency/department request made after the employee has completed his or her normal work shift and left the work station, the employee shall be credited with four (4) hours work plus any hours of work in excess of four (4) hours in which the employee is continuously engaged in work for which he or she was called back.
