Canvass. Where the employer identifies a need to proceed with a layoff as defined in clause the employer shall notify the Union, in writing, prior to issuing any layoff notices. The notice shall include where the reduction is required, the number of positions to be affected; the the centre; the pay level classification and qualifications of the the reasons for layoff; the cost reduction or other goal intended to be achieved by the layoff; the employees for canvas.
Canvass. Prior to the filling of these positions, the Employer agrees to conduct a one-time canvass of existing intermittent and external interim positions to identify if these appointment types are interested in converting to the established term irregular position.

As a result of agency specific negotiations conducted through the course of negotiations leading to a contract between District 1199\SEIU and the State of Ohio, the parties have agreed to the following:
Canvass. Canvass of the Votes preparation and organization.
1. As Early Voting clerk, the Contracting Officer shall receive applications for early voting ballots to be voted by mail in accordance with Chapters 31 and 86 of the Texas Election Code. The Contracting Officer shall work with the “Participating Authorities.” in securing personnel to serve as Early Voting Deputies. The Contracting Officer shall, upon request, provide the “Participating Authorities.” A copy of the early voting report on a daily basis and a cumulative final early voting report following the election.
2. Early Voting by personal appearance for the election shall be conducted during the hours and time period and at the locations listed in Exhibit. “A,” attached hereto and made a part of this contract.
3. The Contracting Officer shall receive mail ballot applications on behalf of the “Participating Authorities”. All applications for mail ballots shall be processed in accordance with Title 7 of the Texas Election Code by the Contracting Officer at 0000 X. Xxxxxx St., Xxxxxx, Texas 79778. Any requests for early voting ballots to be voted by mail received by the “Participating Authorities.” shall be forwarded immediately to the Contracting Officer for processing.
4. All Early Voting ballots (those cast by mail and those cast by personal appearance) shall be secured and maintained by the Contracting Officer and delivered by her or her deputy for counting in accordance with Chapter 87 of the Texas Election Code to the Early Voting Ballot Board at the Upton County Rankin Annex on Election Day, May 6, 2023.
Canvass. Before a layoff occurs, the Employer may consult with the Union to discuss lessening disruption to clients and staff. Prior to the layoff of regular employees under Article the Employer shall canvass employees in order to invite:

Canvass. The Employer will supply the Union with as much notice as is reasonably possible when employees are expected to be designated for layoff and will discuss any such expected layoffs with the Union. Prior to the layoff of regular under Clause or the Ministry may, within a geographic location, canvass any employee or group of employees within the Ministry to invite: voluntary placement into a vacant regular position within the Ministry; resignation with severance as provided for in Clause 37.07; or where eligible, early retirement. In the event of a layoff the following shall apply to regular employees with less than three years' service seniority.
Canvass. Prior to the layoff of any employee the Employer will post a Notice for a period of not less than 14 days inviting regular employees to express their interest in voluntary retirement or placement on the on call list. In order to be considered, any responses must be submitted in writing prior to the expiration of the 14 days of the notice.
