Certified Worker. The Employer accepts that one (l) CUPE member covering this Collective Agreement who is to serve on the Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee will be selected among those to be trained as a certified worker under the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Any costs associated with the initial training of a certified worker will be paid by the Employer, or as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Certified Worker. The Employer shall recognize one (1) ONA member as a certified worker pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At the Employer’s expense, the Employer will provide certification training under the Occupational Health and Safety Act for one (1) ONA member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee.
Certified Worker. (a) When a certified worker is called in to work by the employer to perform his/her duties under the Occupational Health and Safety Act, he/she shall be paid at the applicable rate as indicated in the Collective Agreement.

Any costs associated with the initial training of a certified worker will be paid by the Employer, as may be prescribed pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety Act." and UNION OF PUBLIC EMPLOYEES, LOCAL SUBJECT: COMPRESSED WORK WEEK Xxxxxxxxx Week Trial The parties agree to waive the provisions of the Collective Agreement as required by the following Terms of Reference for implementing a compressed work week schedule for the Xxxxxxxxx TERMS OF REFERENCE To establish a compressed work week for Registered Nursing Assistants on Xxxxxxxxx TRIAL PERIOD The changes to effect the compressed work week will be in effect for a trial period of sixteen 6) weeks, beginning August The programme will be evaluated separately by Nursing Administration and the on Hutch at the end of and weeks. It is understood that the compressed work week trial may be terminated at any time during the week trial period by either party if it is deemed to be unsatisfactory. PARTICIPATION All full-time and part-time Registered Nursing Assistants will be required to participate in the compressed work week for the trial period. SUGGESTIONS AND COMPLAINTS During the trial period, the parties agree to meet at the Local level to discuss suggestions or complaints in an effort to adopt or resolve them to the:satisfaction of the Hospital and Any problems arising from the changes to implement this program will not be subject to the formal grievance procedure, but will be treated as a complaint and will be resolved locally.
