City Closure Days/Special Paid Time Off. During the term of this agreement, the City is considering the closure of non-essential operations during the Winter Break. For 2013, the City has decided to close during the Winter Break and the three closure days shall be December 26th, 27th, and 30th. Should the City decide to close for the Winter Break in 2014 and 2015, the three closure days for 2014 would be December 26th, 29th, and 30th; and for 2015 would be December 28th, 29th, and 30th. The City will make every effort to notify the Unit no later than September 15th of each year of the agreement as to whether the City will be open or closed for the three days during that year’s Winter Break. The Unit agrees that the City has the unilateral right to decide whether to close for Winter Break(s). If the City decides to close during the Winter Break, the City will provide three days (24 hours) of Special Paid Time Off to each full-time Unit employee. The number of hours of Special Paid Time Off shall be pro-rated for part-time Unit employees. If the City decides that certain employees are required to work during the Winter Break closure(s), those employees will be given a bank of Special Paid Time Off equal to the amount of time the employee was required to work, not to exceed eight hours for each closure day. The banked Special Paid Time Off hours must be used within the guidelines established below. If the City decides not to close during the Winter Break, each Unit employee will be given a bank of three days (24 hours) of Special Paid Time Off for use during the remainder of the fiscal year. The number of hours of Special Paid Time Off shall be pro-rated for part-time Unit employees. Unit employees may begin using Special Paid Time Off hours beginning the first full pay period after the announcement to not close during the Winter Break has been made. Any banked Special Paid Time Off from 2013 must be used no later than June 19, 2014 and any banked time off remaining as of June 20, 2014 shall be forfeited. Any banked Special Paid Time Off from 2014 must be used no later than June 18, 2015 and any banked time off remaining as of June 19, 2015 shall be forfeited. Any banked Special Paid Time Off from 2015 must be used no later than June 16, 2016, and any banked time off remaining as of June 17, 2016 shall be forfeited. An employee whose employment with the City terminates shall not receive compensation for any unused Special Paid Time Off.

City Closure Days/Special Paid Time Off. All eligible part-time employees regularly scheduled to work 20 hours or more per week on a continuous basis shall receive a prorated bank of Special Paid Time Off subject to the provisions set forth in Section 8 of this Agreement.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • RDDS update time Refers to the time measured from the reception of an EPP confirmation to a transform command on a domain name, host or contact, up until the servers of the RDDS services reflect the changes made.

  • Response Time PROVIDING PARTY shall respond to and resolve any problems in connection with the Corporate Services for RECEIVING PARTY within a commercially reasonable period of time, using response and proposed resolution times consistent with its response and resolution of such problems for itself.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • WORKING DAY BEFORE AUCTION DATE Any intending bidder who intends to bid on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm is required to deposit with the Auctioneer prior to the auction sale an authority letter to state that he/she is acting on behalf of another person, body corporate or firm and he/she is authorised to sign all the necessary documents. A foreign citizen/foreign company may be allowed to bid for the property and if the bid is successful, the sale is subject to the foreign citizen/company applying and obtaining at his/her/its own cost to the Economic Planning Unit (if applicable) and/or relevant State Authority for the unconditional consent to the sale within the period stated in Clause 11 hereof but subject to Clause 22 hereof.
