COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT a. Each adult Tenant shall comply with the Community Service Requirements set forth in Section 12(c) of the Housing Act of 1937, as it may be required by HUD. Generally, these requirements require all adult residents who are not employed, elderly, or disabled, or otherwise exempted to contribute 8 hours per month of community service, or participate in an economic self-sufficiency program for 8 hours per month. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any tenant who meets the definition of “engaged in activities to meet” the employment criteria as explained in both Section 12 below and in Section 3.2 of the Admissions and Continuing Occupancy Policy (ACOP) will be deemed to meet the community service requirement. Any tenant who meets the employment criteria will be exempt from the Community Service Requirement.
b. Landlord will advise Tenant as to the Community Service Requirements.
c. Thirty days before the expiration of the term of this Lease Agreement and each renewal thereof, Landlord will review and determine the Tenant’s compliance with the Community Service Requirements. If the Landlord determines the Tenant has not complied with such requirements, the Landlord will notify the Tenant of the noncompliance; that the finding of noncompliance is subject to administrative grievance procedures; and that unless the Tenant enters into an agreement curing such noncompliance in accordance with Public Requirements, this Lease Agreement will not be renewed and the Tenant will be evicted.
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. A. All adult members of Resident’s household, who are not specifically exempted as provided herein, must either contribute eight (8) hours per month of community service within the community in which Resident’s Dwelling is located, or must participate in an economic self-sufficiency program for eight (8) hours per month. Community service may be contributed to HACB owned properties and/or projects or at other locations not owned by HACB and/or programs or non-profits not run by HACB, as determined by HACB.
B. Members of Resident’s household who are employed at least 30 hours a week, sixty-two (62) years of age or older, blind or disabled, primary care givers for a blind or disabled member of Resident’s household, or a full-time student are exempted from work requirements pursuant to State law (as may be amended) and in compliance with the law, or a participant in good standing in a qualified economic self-sufficiency program are specifically exempted from the community service requirement.
C. Resident acknowledges and understands that HACB has the right to not renew this Agreement and/or any renewals thereof if Resident and/or any member of Resident’s household not specifically exempted as provided herein fails to comply with the community service requirement. HACB shall conduct a determination at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of this Agreement or any renewal thereof, to determine whether the adult members of Resident’s household have fully complied with the total number of community hours required. HACB may enter into an agreement prior to the end of this Agreement or any subsequent renewals thereof, with the Resident to become current or have an adult member of Resident’s household not specifically exempted to become current in meeting the community service requirement in lieu of not renewing this Agreement and/or any renewals thereof.

b. Landlord will advise Tenant as to the Community Service Requirements.
c. Thirty days before the expiration of the term of this Lease Agreement and each renewal thereof, Landlord will review and determine the Tenant’s compliance with the Community Service Requirements. If the Landlord determines the Tenant has not complied with such requirements, the Landlord will notify the Tenant of the noncompliance; that the finding of noncompliance is subject to administrative grievance procedures; and that unless the Tenant enters into an agreement curing such noncompliance in accordance with Public Requirements, this Lease Agreement will not be renewed and the Tenant will be evicted.
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. Each adult member of the Resident's household who have been determined eligible to perform 8 hours per month community service or participate in a self-sufficiency program, shall provide documentation to that effect. If a Resident, Resident's household members have not complied with the community service requirement, the PCHA shall notify the Resident that their lease will not be renewed unless they enter into an agreement to cure the deficiency and adhere to the terms of that agreement.
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. If a Resident has not complied with the community service requirement prior to the end of the lease term, HACB shall notify the Resident that this Agreement will not be renewed unless they enter into an agreement to cure the deficiency.

COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. Each adult Tenant and adult family member, other than an exempt individual, shall perform community service or participate in an economic self- sufficiency program in accordance with 24 CFR Subpart F, 960.600 through 960.609. If during reexamination Tenant and other adult family members, who do not have exempt status, is/are found to be non- compliant, then Management is prohibited by HUD from renewing the Rental Agreement. Please refer to the attached Community Service Policy.
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. In keeping with the school’s mission to prepare students to become responsible, productive citizens, the upper school program includes a service component that works to xxxxxx a greater concern and sense of responsibility for the quality of life in the community. Student’s exposure to and participation in the various offerings of both on and off campus projects allow them to earn the 100 hours required for graduation from CSN, as well as meet the requirements for other awards such as membership in the National Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and Bright Future Scholarship Program. In addition to the many opportunities offered through the Office of Student Activities, each upper school grade adopts a local agency in which they become involved throughout their high school years. Students are encouraged to participate in all grade level projects organized by class officers. Additional assistance is provided to freshmen through organized Experiential Service Days during which students go into the community to work with local agencies. It is the hope that through this exposure to different opportunities, students will find a volunteer position that is both interesting and rewarding and that students will realize the value of one’s contribution to the community. All students must complete twenty-five hours of service per year, a minimum of ten must be community service hours worked on campus. Students may arrange their own projects and/or participate in those offered through the school. A list of opportunities is available in the Student Activities Office. All hours for undergraduates must be completed by June 1, 2013. Failure to do so will result in placement in structured study hall during the first quarter of the following year. To be eligible for graduation, seniors must complete their community service hours by May 1, 2013.
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. Shall c omply with the federally mandated Community S ervice Requirement. Failure of the Tenant or member of the tenant household to perform required Community Service or be exempted therefrom. Failure to comply with the Community S ervice requirement hours, without documented qualification of an exemption shall b e good c ause for termination of the Tenant’s tenancy.result in the nonrenewal of this Lease in a ccordance with 24 C.F.R. § 966.4(a)(2)(ii).
COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENT. A. Tenant and each adult member of Tenant’s Household as set forth in Section 2.B.1. shall:
1. Contribute eight (8) hours per month of community service (not political activity) within the community in which that adult resides; or
2. Participate eight (8) hours in an economic self-sufficiency program, (defined as any program designed to encourage, assist, train, or facilitate the economic independence of participants and their families or to provide work for participants including programs for job training, employment counseling, work placement, basic skills training, education, workforce, financial or household management apprenticeship).
B. The foregoing requirement shall not apply to a resident who:
1. Is 62 years of age or older;
2. Is a blind or disabled individual, as defined under section 216(I)(1) or section 1614 of the Social Security Act (42 USC §416(i)(1); 1382c), and who is unable to comply with this section, or is a primary caretaker of such individual;
3. Is engaged in a work activity (as such term is defined in section 407(D) of the Social Security Act (42 USC §607(d), as in effect on and after July 1, 1997);
4. Meets the requirements for being exempted from having to engage in a work activity under the State program funded under Part A of Title IV of the Social Security Act (42 USC §601 et seq.) or under any other welfare program of the State of West Virginia, including a State- administered welfare-to-work program; or
5. Is in a family receiving assistance under a State program funded under Part A of Title IV of the Social Security Act (42 USC §601 et seq.) or under any other welfare program of the State of West Virginia, including a State-administered welfare-to-work program, and has not been found by the State or other administering entity to be in compliance with such program.
C. If the Landlord determines at the annual review, which shall take place at least thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the Lease, that Tenant has not complied with Section 9(A) of this Lease, the Landlord shall:
1. Notify Tenant of noncompliance;
2. Notify Tenant that Tenant may file a grievance regarding the determination of noncompliance; and
3. Notify Tenant that unless Tenant enters into an agreement with the Landlord prior to expiration of the Lease term, which agreement shall provide that the Tenant cure any noncompliance with Section 9(A) by participating in an economic self-efficiency program or contributing to community service as many additional...
