Compensation in Cash or Leave With Pay. (a) Overtime shall be compensated in cash except where, upon request of an employee and with the approval of the Employer, or at the request of the Employer and the concurrence of the employee, overtime may be compensated in equivalent leave with pay.

Upon request from the employee, and with the Centre's approval, Overtime worked in accordance with clause 40.01 may shall be granted in the form of cash or compensatory leave which will be calculated at the applicable overtime rate.
