Compensation in Cash or Leave With Pay. Upon request from the employee, and with the Centre's approval, overtime worked in accordance with clause 40.01 may be granted in the form of cash or compensatory leave which will be calculated at the applicable overtime rate. Compensatory leave earned in a financial year and still outstanding on March 31st of the next following year will be paid in cash at the applicable overtime rate of pay at the time that it was earned.

  • Extra Compensation The Board shall pay no fees, other than described above, to the PA/E unless authorized by the Board as follows:

  • ’ Compensation Leave If such determination cannot readily be made and all healthcare leave or annual leave subject to 100% payoff has been applied to the absence, the employee shall be placed on Official Leave until a final determination is made.

  • Special Compensation The Company shall pay to the Executive a lump sum equal to three times the sum of (a) the highest per annum base rate of salary in effect with respect to the Executive during the three-year period immediately prior to the termination of employment plus (b) the Highest Bonus Amount. Such lump sum shall be paid by the Company to the Executive within ten business days after the Executive's termination of employment, unless the provisions of Section 3(e) below apply.   • Show-Up Compensation An employee who is scheduled for work and reports for work, except for situations addressed in Article 63 - Inclement Conditions, and is released from work shall be paid the equivalent of two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate. When an employee actually begins his/her scheduled shift, the employee shall be paid for the remainder of the scheduled shift. Part-time hourly paid employees, who actually begin their scheduled shift, shall be paid for the remainder of their scheduled shift.

  • Basic Compensation An employee, at the employee's option, may report to court when subpoenaed or remain on call. If the employee elects to appear in court, the division supervisor must be notified, at the latest, one administrative day prior to the scheduled court appearance. If the employee wishes to remain on call, the employee must be able to appear in court not more than one hour after being notified that the employee's appearance is required in court. To appear in court more than an hour after having been notified will void the employee's right to on-call compensation. An employee need not remain at home, but must be available for telephonic notification at a location where the supervisor knows the employee can be reached.

  • Deferred Salary Leave Each employer ratifying this Agreement will establish or, as necessary, review and update a deferred salary leave plan consistent with Regulations issued by Canada Revenue Agency under the Income Tax Act. The parties may use the Application, Agreement, and Approval Form as a template (see Appendix H) for the deferred salary leave plan.

  • DEDUCTIONS FROM SALARY A. The Board agrees to deduct from teachers’ salaries membership dues and assessments for the Xxxxxx County Education Association, the Maryland State Teachers’ Association, and the National Education Association as said teachers individually and voluntarily authorize to deduct through an appropriate written authorization form prepared by the Association. The Board agrees to transmit such monies promptly to the Association.

  • ' COMPENSATION BENEFITS In accordance with Section 142 of the State Finance Law, this contract shall be void and of no force and effect unless the Contractor shall provide and maintain coverage during the life of this contract for the benefit of such employees as are required to be covered by the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Law.
