Computation of Leave Credits. (a) For the purpose of this Article, hours of work shall include normal working hours on ordinary week days, normal hours on holiday, whether worked or paid for without work, and absence on paid vacations. Hours of work lost by an Employee due to absence as a result solely of injury sustained on duty may be included as hours worked for the purpose of computing vacation leave credits, providing such injury is declared an industrial accident under the Government Employees Compensation Act. Vacation leave credits will accrue from the date of last entry into Saint Xxxx Port Authority service provided, however, that an Employee whose service with the Employer is terminated for any reason whatsoever before completing thirty (30)days service, will forfeit absolutely all right to vacation leave credit. An Employeeis entitled to vacation leavewith pay to the extent of earned credits but an Employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous service may, at the discretion of the Employer, receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipatedcredits for the vacation year.

  • Vacation Leave Credits ‌ Full-time and part-time employees will be credited with vacation leave accrued monthly, according to the rate schedule and vacation leave accrual below.

  • Sick Leave Credits Regular employees who have completed their probationary period will accrue sick leave credits at the rate of one day per month to a maximum of 156 days. Upon completion of their probationary period, an employee will be credited with sick leave back to the employee's starting date.   • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

  • Restoration of Sick Leave Credit Employees who have been separated from state service and return to a position (except as temporary employees) within two (2) years shall have unused sick leave credits accrued during previous employment restored.

  • Vacation Leave Credits for Severance Pay Where the employee requests, the Employer shall grant the employee’s unused vacation leave credits prior to termination of employment if this will enable the employee, for purposes of severance pay, to complete the first (1st) year of continuous employment in the case of lay-off.

  • Expiration of Sick Leave Credits Employees who are absent due to sickness beyond their accumulated sick leave credits shall be placed on an unpaid leave of absence until they are in receipt of long-term disability benefits. (Reference Article 37 - Leave – General and Appendix A – Long-Term Disability Insurance Plan.)

  • Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.

  • Calculation of Annual Leave Pay Annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary weekly wage rate for ordinary hours for the period of annual leave (excluding shift allowances and weekend payments but including leading hand allowance); plus an amount equal to 17.5% of the amount

  • Sick Leave Credit ‌ All employees will be able to draw on a block of nine days' sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credits, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.
