Construction Phase Design Services. The Design-Builder is required to complete the design of the Project so that it reflects a logical progression of the design intent contained in the GMP Drawings and Specifications. The Design-Builder shall be required to forward copies of all construction document packages and any material change thereto to the Department. The Department shall be given a reasonable period of time, in light of the Project Schedule and the needs of the Project, to review such documents. In all cases other than time sensitive changes arising from field conditions, the Department shall be provided with at least five (5) business days to review such documents and the Design-Builder shall not proceed with Work that is objected to by the Department until such Work is approved by the Department. The Department can disapprove the design construction document packages for any reason; provided, however, the Design-Builder shall be entitled to an adjustment to the GMP and/or the Contract Time if the Department disapproves a package unless such a package departs from the Scope of Work fairly reflected in the GMP Drawings and Specifications and in such an event the Design-Builder shall be required to prepare a revised design that complies with the GMP Drawings and Specifications and without any entitlement to an increase in the GMP or an adjustment of the Contract Time.

Construction Phase Design Services. 1. The CONSULTANT shall review the contract bid package and coordinate any necessary corrections with the Technical Services Division of INDOT. 2. The CONSULTANT shall review all shop drawings for this contract during construction. Such reviews and approvals or other action will not extend to means, methods, techniques, sequences, or procedures of construction or to safety precautions and programs incident thereto, or accuracy or completeness of details, such as quantities, dimensions, weights or gauges, fabrication processes, coordination of the work with other trades, all of which are the sole responsibility of the Contractor. The CONSULTANT's review shall be conducted with reasonable promptness while allowing sufficient time in the CONSULTANT’s judgment to permit adequate review. Review of a specific item shall not indicate that the CONSULTANT has reviewed the entire assembly of which the item is a component. The CONSULTANT shall not be responsible for any deviations from the Construction Documents not brought to the attention of the CONSULTANT in writing by the Contractor. The CONSULTANT shall not be required to review partial submissions or those for which submissions of correlated items have not been received. 3. Following the award of a construction contract, the CONSULTANT will be responsible for attending the preconstruction meeting. 4. During the course of construction, the CONSULTANT shall be available at reasonable times during normal working hours to respond to reasonable inquiries concerning the accuracy or intent of the CONSULTANT’s plans. All such inquiries will be made only by persons designated by the LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY to interpret the plans and contract documents for the benefit of the contractors and subcontractors performing the work. The CONSULTANT shall not be required to respond to inquiries by persons other than the LOCAL PUBLIC AGENCY’s designated representative and shall not be required to engage in exhaustive or extensive analysis or interpretation of the plans.

  • Construction Phase Fee Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee is the maximum amount payable to Contractor for any cost or profit expectation incurred in the performance of the Work that is not specifically identified as being eligible for reimbursement by Owner elsewhere in this Agreement. References in the UGSC to Contractor’s “overhead” and “profit” mean Contractor’s Construction Phase Fee. The Construction Phase Fee includes, but is not limited to, the following items: 9.1 All profit, profit expectations and costs associated with profit sharing plans such as personnel bonuses, incentives, and rewards; company stock options; or any other like expenses of Contractor.

  • Design Services The Engineer shall perform services during the schematic design phase, the design development phase, the contract documents phase, and the bidding period as hereinafter specified.

  • Construction Phase Part 1 –

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • Construction Services 4,500 thousand SDR for Japan Post in Group A 15,000 thousand SDR for all other entities in Group A 4,500 thousand SDR for entities in Group B Architectural, engineering and other technical services covered by this Agreement: 450 thousand SDR

  • Completion of Work The Contractor agrees to complete the work on, or before October 29, 2021.

  • Commencement of Work Engineer shall not commence any field work under this Contract until he/she/it has obtained all required insurance and such insurance has been approved by County. As further set out below, Engineer shall not allow any subcontractor/subconsultant(s) to commence work to be performed in connection with this Contract until all required insurance has been obtained and approved and such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. Approval of the insurance by County shall not relieve or decrease the liability of Engineer hereunder.

  • Construction and Maintenance There are on-going maintenance, renovation and construction projects taking place in and around the residences. The work typically takes place during regular business hours, but may begin earlier or extend into evenings or weekends. On-going construction or renovation projects will continue through midterm and final exam periods. The University will take measures to ensure that prudent construction practices are followed, but there may be noise, dust and temporary interruption of some services. Residents may be required to temporarily or permanently relocate to facilitate construction or renovation to their residence area. There will be no compensation or reduction to your residence fees due to disruption and/or relocation.

  • Installation, Maintenance, Testing and Repair Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Parties, to the extent required by Applicable Law, Interconnection provided by a Party shall be equal in quality to that provided by such Party to itself, any subsidiary, affiliates or third party. If either Party is unable to fulfill its obligations under this Section 14.2, it shall notify the other Party of its inability to do so and will negotiate alternative intervals in good faith. The Parties agree that to the extent required by Applicable Law, the standards to be used by a Party for isolating and clearing any disconnections and/or other outages or troubles shall be at parity with standards used by such Party with respect to itself, any subsidiary, affiliate or third party.
