Continuing Legal Education Requirements. Contractor shall ensure that all contract attorneys providing representation under this contract: (a) Obtain 12 hours of continuing legal education credits related to the practice of juvenile law during each year of this contract, if the attorney is handling juvenile court cases; (b) Obtain 12 hours of continuing legal education credits related to the practice of criminal law during each year of this contract, if the attorney is handling criminal court cases; and (c) For attorneys with mixed caseloads including both juvenile and criminal cases, obtain 12 hours of continuing legal education credits during each year of this contract, apportioning those credits between programs related to juvenile and criminal law according to the percentage of the attorney’s cases assigned under this contract in each of those practice areas.

Continuing Legal Education Requirements. The Employer shall provide and subscribe to West’s Legal Education Center or other like services, on behalf of each Public Service Administrator Option 8L’s (Attorneys) at DOC and the Nuclear Safety Staff Attorneys I and II at IEMA for the purposes of the employee’s compliance with the State of Illinois Continuing Legal Education Requirements. Each employee shall have the capability of tracking credit hours and taking online courses through the program.
Continuing Legal Education Requirements. 6/16/1 If the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as a condition for the retention of a license to practice law, requires a certain annual minimum amount of postgraduate training, the Employer will grant leave with pay each calendar year to employees for the sole purpose of the employee meeting the minimum requirements. The choice of time of continuing education will be at the discretion and approval of the District Attorney to fulfill the operational needs of the particular office. The Assistant District Attorney will have discretion to choose the type of continuing education contingent upon the approval of the District Attorney.
