Contract object. This Quality Assurance Agreement regulates the rights and obligations of the contracting parties in respect of securing the quality of all delivered products. In particular, this QAA shall contractually ensure that the Supplier fulfils the necessary actions and regulations to enforce conformity and reliability of the products and performances to be delivered, in order to ensure the delivery quality in the end-product which is demanded.

Contract object. 3.1. The present Contract sets forth the obligation of Contracted Party to supply the Goods and Services to Contracting Party in accordance with the Purchase Orders issued by Contracting Party and accepted by Contracted Party. Contracting Party shall only be committed in relation to Goods and Services described in Purchase Orders that are duly issued at its sole discretion and accepted by Contracting Party, with no implication whatsoever as regards the estimated values for the issuing of the Performance Bond provided in Clause 28. Any other document issued by Contracting Party containing a list of Goods and Services and related quantities shall be equally deemed a mere estimate not implying any obligation or responsibility on the part of either Contracted Party or Contracted Party. 3.2. The Parties hereto mutually agree that there will be no commitment between them to reimburse any expense possibly incurred by the other Party as a result of this Contract execution, unless otherwise provided in this Contract. 3.3. The supply of Goods and the rendering of Services shall only be started by Contracted Party against the issue of the related Purchase Orders by Contracting Party and their acceptance by Contracted Party. According to the relevant Purchase Order duly accepted and in conformity with the high standards to be expected from a technically qualified, experienced and competent vendor, Contracted Party shall supply, install, commission and test the System, including its Hardware, Software, Spare Parts and Services, as provided in this Contract. 3.4. The total Contract value shall be defined by the summation of all Purchase Orders accepted by Contracted Party. 3.5. Contracting Party may temporarily suspend those activities whose Purchase Orders have already been submitted, subject to the procedure set forth in Annex 3. 3.6. Contracted Party shall be liable for all necessary expenses incurred in performing the object of the present Contract, including without limitation the housing, meals and transportation of its employees, legal representatives, assigns or subcontractors. In no event shall Contracting Party be liable for the aforementioned expenses, except as provided in subclause 4.4.1 of this Contract and unless otherwise agreed between the Parties. 3.7. Contract object. The Contractor undertakes to carry out the Customer the following: collection, reprocessing or recycling of packaging waste in accordance with provisions of Section 8, subsection 2, paragraphs a), d) and e) of the Packaging Act within the scope of information (supporting documents) provided (submitted) by the Customer, keeping of all records for the Customer for whom he carries out collection, reprocessing or recycling of packaging waste, reporting of summary data referred to in Clause 1.1 above to the Ministry of Environment of the SR (hereinafter as “the Ministry”), archiving of documents referred to in Clause 1.1. for a period of at least five years, provision of free consulting related to packaging waste. The Customer undertakes to pay to the Contractor the agreed remuneration. Should the Contractor provide the performance hereunder through third parties, he shall be responsible for such performance as if it was provided by the Contractor himself. All analyses in this framework agreement are listed in the Attachment 4 – Price and quality of methods. In the lifetime of the framework agreement there may be changes in the list of analyses, all within the same categories. The sample types include mainly sample matrices as described in Appendix 4. However, other sample matrices may also be relevant. If any of the methods becomes available for analysis internal at IMR, they will be analysed inhouse depending on capacity. The MAREANO program is interdisciplinary and cross-institutional, and the survey is carried out in collaboration with the Norwegian Mapping Authority (Kartverket), the Norwegian Geological Survey (NGU) and the Institute of Marine Research (IMR). The MAREANO program is led by a cross-institutional program group, while the steering group is made up of five government ministries. The mapping of geological, biological and chemical seafloor environments is carried out in areas where the MAREANO program has already acquired high-resolution depth maps through the Mapping Authority. Geological, biological and chemical mapping is carried out using several types of tools such as bottom grabs, multi-core samplers, beam trawl, epibenthic xxxxxx, seafloor video recording, as well as bottom penetrating echosounder and CTDs/water collectors. The seafloor video recording may either be conducted with a client supplied towed HD video rig or use of a work class ROV (minimum1500m) with HD camera.
