Deffinition. Seniority means a regular employee’s length of service from his/her first date of employment, as opposed to when he/she successfully completes his/her probationary period. Seniority for regular part-time employees shall be prorated. Employees working over three (3) hours per day will be credited with one day of seniority. Deffinition. Call time refers to those times when an employee is not at work and is called in because of emergency conditions or the employee requests or is requested to work outside of their normal contracted hours. Call time is compensated at time and a half payment for the hours outside of the normal contracted hours.
Deffinition. Seniority means a full time employee's length of continuous service with the Iowa City Community School District and begins with the first day of work, in a full time permanent position.
