Differential Rate. As used in this Contract is a pay bonus based upon the nature of the hours worked, such as differentials for hours worked during a specified period. This type of pay premium would be considered a differential added to each applicable hour of pay, not guaranteed overtime. Hours to be paid with this “bonus” premium are counted as hours actually worked for purposes of calculating overtime hours in the week. This does not create a duplication or pyramiding of overtime since this is not overtime pay, but rather a differential.

Differential Rate a. An employee working an eight (8) hour shift commencing at twelve (12) noon or after shall receive a shift differential in the form of an assigned seven and one-half (7 ½) hours for which he/she shall be paid for eight (8) hours at the differential rate of pay. Employees working this assignment shall receive a one-half hour paid lunch break and shall remain at the work site during that time.
Differential Rate. Any regularly assigned eight (8) hour shift commencing at 1:00 pm or after shall receive an hourly rate differential of thirty (30) cents for the full assigned shift.
Differential Rate. Beginning October 1 of the first year after the end of the phase- in period, High Point shall pay for all water purchased under this Contract at a rate of twenty eight percent (28%) above the rate charged to the City by NTMWD per one thousand (1,000) gallons (“Differential Rate") for water furnished to the City.   • Differential Pay Section 1(A). Geographic Area Pay. Classifications C4115, C4116, C4207, C4209, C4211, C4213, C4215, C4221, C4223, C4225: Prevailing basic rates in specific geographical areas for employment of limited duration less than one hundred twenty (120) days will be approved. Employees paid at such rates will not be eligible for vacation, sick leave or holiday benefits. Such rates will be paid only for construction work.

  • Differential Differential is a salary allowance in addition to the basic rate or schedule based upon additional skills, responsibilities, hours of employment, or distasteful or hazardous work.

  • Bilingual Differential Pay Bilingual Differential Pay applies to those positions designated by the Department of Personnel Administration as eligible to receive bilingual pay according to the following standards:

  • Penal Rates (a) Weekend rate - applies to ordinary time (other than overtime) worked after midnight Friday/Saturday until midnight Sunday/Monday shall be paid at time one half (T0.5) in addition to the ordinary hourly rate of pay.

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.

  • Certification Differential Nurses who obtain and maintain a nationally 17 recognized certification that is applicable to the services they provide for the 18 Employer shall receive $1.00 per hour. No additional differential is allotted for 19 more than one (1) certification. Proof of certification must be provided to the 20 Employer upon request. The approved certification list established by mutual 21 consent between the Association and the Director of Human Resources is as 22 follows:

  • Shift Differential The shift differential for employees working on assigned shifts which begin before 6:00 A.M. or which end at or after 7:00 P.M. shall be sixty-five cents ($0.65) per hour for all hours worked on that shift. Such shift differential shall be in addition to the employee's regular rate of pay and shall be included in all payroll calculations, but shall not apply during periods of paid leave. Employees working the regular day schedule who are required to work overtime or who are called back to work for special projects shall not be eligible for the shift differential.

  • Shift Differential Compensation Any employee in the bargaining unit whose assigned work shift commences (for unit-1) prior to 5:30 a.m. or whose work shift ends after 5:30 p.m., or (for unit-2 members) commences after 2:00 p.m. shall be paid a shift differential premium of five (5%) percent above the regular rate of pay for all hours worked.
