Work Schedule Changes. It is agreed that pursuant to the exercise of management rights, normal work schedules may be changed without mutual agreement, subject to compliance with other provisions of this Agreement. However, it is agreed that the effects of consequences of such changes are subject to the meet and confer obligation to the extent required by state law.
Work Schedule Changes. The Employer shall notify employees fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of any permanent changes in their work schedules. Temporary changes in work schedules including but not limited to early starts, early quits, or send homes shall be at the Employer's discretion.
Work Schedule Changes. The District retains the right to establish or change work schedules or hours of work consistent with state and federal statutes and this Agreement. Any such change shall not be made for arbitrary or capricious reasons.
Work Schedule Changes. It is agreed that the determination of the starting time of daily and weekly work schedules shall be made by the Employer and such schedules may be changed by the Employer from time to time to suit varying conditions of business. In the event of a change in existing hours or shifts, the Employer agrees to give at least fourteen (14) days' notice of any change and during that 14-day period, agrees to discuss any changes with the employee(s) or Union.
Work Schedule Changes. Schedules may be changed from time to time in order to meet service requirements. The Company will provide the affected employee as much advance notice as possible of the effective date of the change in any previously posted or furnished schedule. Tours and work schedules may be exchanged by mutual consent of the employee and the Company. The employee is responsible for finding a qualified replacement. Introduction of new tours/schedules will be posted and employees will select by seniority. Once selected, the tours/schedules will be assigned on a rotational basis.
Work Schedule Changes. The County and the Association agree to meet and discuss problems with, or changes in, work schedules on a Agency/Department basis during the term of this Agreement upon request of either party.
Work Schedule Changes. Pursuant to an exercise of management's rights, the appointing officer can change a work schedule based on the department's operational needs. The appointing officer will provide written authorization confirming such change and five (5) calendar days’ notice to the employee, unless operational needs require otherwise. Upon request of the Union during the 5-day notice period, the department will meet and confer on the impact of a noticed work schedule change.
Work Schedule Changes. Work schedules (scheduled shifts and/or workdays) may be changed by the University from time to time in its discretion as deemed necessary to meet the operational needs of the University. The University shall provide affected employees with at least fourteen (14) calendar days' advance notice of any planned permanent change in an employee's work schedule. In recognition of their status as "essential personnel," the University may make temporary changes to the regular work schedules of sworn police officers as deemed necessary in the discretion of the Chief of Police.
Work Schedule Changes. Any overall, long term change in work schedules will be discussed between the Employer and the Union Staff Representative and/or Union President prior to implementation. The Employer may change the regular starting and quitting times and the days worked in a week with five (5) work days’ notice prior to the effective date of the new schedule. The five (5) work day notice may be waived upon written mutual agreement between Management and the Union. Although reasonable warning will be given whenever possible, the five (5) work day notice provision will not be required for temporary individual shift assignment changes which may be made only to cover for the absences of another employee due to termination, resignation, vacations, or sick leave. Other than the reasons cited above, an employee’s work shift shall not be changed to avoid payment of overtime when an employee is called to work outside that employee’s regular work shift or called to work before the regular staring time or retained to work beyond the regular quitting time.
Work Schedule Changes. The County and VCSCOA agree to meet and discuss problems with or changes in work schedules on a Department basis during the term of this MOA upon request of either party. Sec. 1004 EMPLOYEES WORKING “STRAIGHT" 8-, 9- 10-, or 12-HOUR SHIFTS: Those employees assigned to work a straight eight (8),nine (9), ten (10) or twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall, respectively, work eight (8), nine (9), ten (10) or twelve (12) hours straight, inclusive of paid lunch and/or breaks.
