Discipline Meetings. 13.07.08.01 Probationary Associate Faculty shall be invited to participate in discipline meetings and other committees and shall be compensated when pre-approved by the appropriate Xxxx.
13.07.08.02 Non-probationary associate faculty shall participate in discipline meetings (in-person or virtually) as a part of his/her workload.
Discipline Meetings. When any support staff member is called to a meeting for the purpose of being officially reprimanded, warned, disciplined, or dismissed, resulting in a written document, he/she shall be notified in writing of his/her right to have a representative of the BEST present. In the event the support staff member prefers to be represented by his/her own counsel, the BEST will be notified of the meeting and given the opportunity to be present. In advance of any discipline, an investigatory conference with the support staff member will be held with the appropriate administrator prior to taking any action. At the conference, the employee shall be made aware of any charges that may form the basis for discipline and shall be given an opportunity to respond to the charges. At the time any such action is taken, a written explanation for the disciplinary action will be presented to the support staff member and upon request of the support staff member, to BEST. After a meeting regarding discharge, demotion, or other related involuntary change in the employment status of any support staff member, the support staff member may be suspended with pay pending determination of the support staff member’s employment status.
Discipline Meetings. Employees shall have the right to be accompanied by a Shop Xxxxxxx to any meeting called by management, the purpose of which is to investigate any allegation that may lead to discipline, when formal discipline is actually being handed out, or to attend a hearing at any level in the grievance procedure. The employer will make every reasonable effort to provide the employee at least twenty-four hours’ notice of such meeting.
Discipline Meetings. In the event of a disciplinary meeting with an Employee, the Employer shall notify the Union a minimum of eighteen (18) hours in advance of the scheduled time of the meeting in order that the Union Representative or the Xxxxxxx may be present at the meeting to support the Employee. Failure to attend by the Union Representative and/or the Xxxxxxx will not delay the disciplinary meeting. If the Union Representative and/or the Xxxxxxx is not in attendance, the Employee may request another Employee attend the meeting. If the parties agree, discipline meetings may be conducted via audio or video conference. The Employer will be responsible for administering the platform to conduct such a conference. If the Client makes a written request to remove the Employee from the building, the Employee may be suspended without cause and without pay by the Employer until such time that the disciplinary meeting is held and any relevant investigation into the breach of policies has concluded. An Employee, who is subject to the progressive discipline process described hereto, shall have the right to have a Xxxxxxx to represent them at such meetings. The Employer agrees that the Employee and the Union shall be notified of the purpose of such meeting. It shall be the responsibility of the Union/Employee to contact the Xxxxxxx and if one is not available the employee being disciplined may request the presence of another co-worker at such meeting. A Union Xxxxxxx, who is subject to discipline, shall have the right to the presence of a Union Representative or another officially appointed Union Xxxxxxx, when practical.
Discipline Meetings. At any meeting specifically convened to discuss matters that could result in discipline, a Flight Attendant shall be advised of that possibility and shall be entitled to be accompanied by a Union representative or another Flight Attendant. When the Company requires a Flight Attendant’s presence for a meeting on her/his day off, the Flight Attendant will be paid two (2.0) hours for that day. Such day will not be considered a day of work for minimum day off purposes.

Discipline Meetings. An administrator may meet with an employee at any time to investigate an incident. The employee may have a union representative present if the employee desires. However, any time an employee is required to appear before a representative of the District concerning disciplinary action, suspension, or dismissal, the employee shall be notified in writing and given reasons for the meeting. The employee shall be entitled to representation and advanced notice of one (1) workday prior to the meeting. Any employee suspended pending disciplinary action will continue to receive his/her regular salary pending a final decision in the matter.
Discipline Meetings. The Company shall notify every employee of their right to Union representation twenty- four (24) hours in advance of a disciplinary meeting. The contents of this meeting shall be limited to the reason the Unit Chairperson or designate /employee were notified twenty- four (24) hours in advance of the meeting. The Company shall provide the employee with time to talk to their Union representative before the discipline meeting.
Discipline Meetings. The Company shall notify every employee of their right of Union representation at a meeting called by the Company to advise the employee of formal discipline. The Company shall provide the employee with an opportunity to talk to their Union representative.
Discipline Meetings. At any meeting specifically convened to discuss matters that could result in discipline, a Flight Attendant shall be advised of that possibility and shall be entitled to be accompanied by a Union representative or another Flight Attendant. When the Company requires a Flight Attendant’s presence for a meeting on a day off via phone or teleconference, the Flight Attendant will be paid two (2.0) hours for that day. If a Flight Attendant attends a meeting in person on a day off, the Flight Attendant will be paid the Minimum Daily Guarantee. Such day, in person or via phone/teleconference, will not be considered a day of work for minimum day off purposes. Flight Attendants will not be required to attend a mandatory meeting with Inflight Management if doing so would interfere with 1 in 7 rest requirements.
