Donated Vacation or Holiday Hours. Employees may donate accrued but unused vacation or holiday hours to another employee under the following conditions: (1) The donation is truly voluntary; (2) the donating employee receives no payment for the donated time; and (3) the employee to whom the time is being donated has less than one hundred (100) hours accrued vacation, holiday and sick leave; and (4) the employee receiving the donation must provide a health care provider certification (including estimate of time away from work) attesting to a serious medical condition that would preclude them from performing the duties of their job or attesting that the employee is needed to care for a member of the employee’s immediate family with a serious medical condition.

  • HOLIDAYS AND VACATION 800 REGULAR HOURS The regular hours of work shall be eight (8) hours per day on the job, Monday through Friday inclusive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The above hours may be worked equally over any four (4) consecutive days, Monday to Friday inclu- sive. Upon request of the Employees, a four (4) day times ten (10) hour work week will not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take three (3) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal year following the date of employment. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of one and one-quarter (1 1/4) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no longer than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

  • Religious Holidays When a religious holiday, not observed as a holiday, as provided in Section 2 above, falls on a supervisor's regularly scheduled work day, the supervisor shall be entitled to that day off to observe the religious holiday. Time to observe religious holidays shall be taken without pay except where the supervisor has sufficient accumulated vacation leave or accumulated compensatory time, or, by mutual consent, is able to make the time up. Supervisors shall notify the Appointing Authority at least twenty-eight (28) calendar days prior to the leave.
