Dossiers. 558 a. All Faculty are required to maintain an electronic Evaluation Dossier. The dossier will be used by all evaluators in evaluating Faculty, including for reappointment, tenure, promotion, professional performance evaluations, and Full Professor Salary Adjustment.

Expenses for round-trip air travel, board, lodging, and health insurance will be the responsibility of the home institution or the exchange participant. The host university will provide assistance to the exchange participant in finding appropriate lodging. The host university will also provide study and research privileges equivalent to those available to resident faculty members. Exchange participants are expected to study and work according to a mutually agreed upon plan for professional improvement and research. Specific arrangements for special facilities, laboratories, local research, and the like will be agreed upon by the Parties in advance.
Dossiers processed by the University Committee on Promotion and Tenure in the same year as the appellant’s application for promotion or tenure will be made available to the appellant through the Secretary to the University. The appellant may review these dossiers in the Office of the Secretary to the University and may request copies of any of these dossiers, in whole or in part. The Secretary to the University shall provide such copies in a timely manner. In the case of confidential letters, identifying names will be deleted prior to copying. The appellant will treat the material and information from the dossiers, whether copied or not, as confidential, and may only discuss such information with their advisor and the Hearing Panel. At the end of the appeal, all materials obtained from the Secretary to the University will be returned to the Secretary for shredding. Both the appellant’s advisor and President’s advisor shall be granted access to the dossiers identified above.

If the Agreement of Friendship and Cooperation between the Trustees of Indiana University and [Partner University] is terminated or expires, this Sub-Agreement will also terminate. This Sub-Agreement may be amended or renewed by a written agreement signed by an authorized representative of each Party. Each Party shall send communications or notices pertaining to this Sub-Agreement to the other Party at the relevant address set forth below or to such other address designated by that other Party through written notice. Dossiers. A dossier documents a faculty member’s accomplishments in teaching, professional development, and service to the College and community. Examples may include the following: course outlines, handouts, quizzes, and exams; summary of conferences and seminars attended; summary of any research or scholarly activity; participation on College committees; and involvement in community organizations.
