Earned Day Off. The overtime rate will be one and one-half (1 ½) times regular pay. However, no overtime entitlement shall accrue to a permanent Employee for regular daily hours worked on an earned day off when the Legislature is in Session. All overtime must be pre-authorized by the Employer.

Earned Day Off. Employees will continue to take the Earned Day off within the job share arrangement.
Earned Day Off. An officer who works a twelve (12) hour shift will work 84 hours per pay period as regularly scheduled time. Each officer will receive an earned day off at the end of week six to accommodate the twelve (12) hour shift. The earned day off will be programmed and assigned to officers using the Telestaff system. Officers will not be allowed to receive payment in lieu of having an earned day off.
Earned Day Off. Patrol officers will be scheduled to work 240 regular straight- time hours every 6 week period. Each 6 week period is divided in to 3 pay periods. Two of those pay periods will consist of 84 regular straight-time hours and one pay period will consist of 72 straight-time hours. Officers will be scheduled to have an “Earned Day Off” (EDO) for one day during the six week period resulting in the72-hour pay period. The EDO is applied as an unpaid day off and treated as a regularly scheduled day off. Each EDO is applied to the schedule as described in the scheduling and bid process in Article 16. It is agreed that XXX’s will not be scheduled on Fridays and Saturdays from move-in week through the weekend of the last home football game during each fall semester without specific approval by department administration. Officers will still be able to use annual leave during this time frame for the Friday, and Saturday shifts.
Earned Day Off. The Earned Day Off Program as it currently exists (12/95) at the Department of Social Services is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this Collective Bargaining Agreement, and applies to the Department of Social Services only. The Earned Day Off Program shall in no way effect Manage- ment’s rights as set forth in Article II, with the exception of the assurance of the existence of an Earned Day Off Program.

  • Rostered Day Off 19.1 Ordinary working hours will be scheduled in a 10-day cycle, Monday to Friday inclusive, with eight (8) ordinary working hours worked for each of nine (9) days and with 0.8 of an hour on each of those days accruing toward the tenth day, which will be known as the rostered day off (RDO).

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Work on Day Off Full-time nurses called in on their regularly scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½x) times the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.

  • Holiday Falling on a Day of Rest (a) When a paid holiday falls on an employee's day of rest, the employee shall be entitled to a day off with pay in lieu.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Calculation of Annual Leave Pay Annual leave shall be paid at the employee’s ordinary weekly wage rate for ordinary hours for the period of annual leave (excluding shift allowances and weekend payments but including leading hand allowance); plus an amount equal to 17.5% of the amount

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.
