Emergency Cancellation. The College may cancel an employee’s previously scheduled vacation leave where emergency circumstances so require. If the College does so, however, it will be obliged to make the employee whole.
Emergency Cancellation. If a driver/aide has to cancel for a demonstrated emergency, (i.e. a situation beyond the employee’s control), the trip will fall to the next driver/aide on the list, after those already assigned. If the next driver/aide in sequence refuses the trip, it falls to the following driver/aide and the declining driver/aide must await his next turn in rotation.

Emergency Cancellation. 3.4.1 Members, as described in Section 1.3.1, will not be required to be in school when schools are closed by the Superintendent due to weather conditions, such as snow, or as the result of extreme physical or mechanical problems relating to one or more of the district’s facilities. The meaning of the word “emergency” as it relates to this paragraph is extended to include the closing of a school or schools by the Superintendent as the result of student health problems. Emergency closing may include one or more buildings of the District.
Emergency Cancellation. 4.7.1 Administration ordered emergency cancellation of a class meeting on an established duty day shall not alter the status of that day as a duty day for purposes of compensation.

All approved vacation, holidays, and/or personal days are subject to change and/or cancellation by the Superintendent in the event of an emergency or situation wherein the effectiveness of the Department is, in the opinion of the Superintendent, seriously affected. No more than 15 days per year (10 hours per month) may be accrued for sick leave. An Employee may typically be off work with an illness or non-work-related injury for three days without a written physician’s explanation. However, if in any calendar year, an Employee has used his sick time on ten different occasions/events, regardless of length of event, the Superintendent may require a physician’s excuse before any additional absences that year are counted as sick time (see also Exhibit B, Physical Examinations). Sick days may accumulate up to 150 days. Payment for accumulated sick days will be made upon retirement to a maximum of 62.5 days. Retirement shall be defined within the guidelines of OPERS. In the event that the Employee concludes, or the Employer otherwise has definitive medical testimony, that the Employee will not be able to return to his position from an illness or off-the-job injury, and reasonable accommodation is inappropriate or cannot be made for a different job description, the Employer may, in advance, pay the full value of the Employee’s remaining sick days, amiably terminate the Employee, and refill his position.

If DTS/Longhouse facilities are destroyed or damaged by fire or any other cause or unforeseen occurrence that shall make the fulfillment of the Agreement impossible, then this Rental Contract shall terminate, payments will be returned and the Renter waives all rights to any claims against DTS and the Longhouse. Emergency Cancellation. If an unavoidable and unforeseen emergency prevents me from attending an interview, I will notify CDO, not the employer, immediately by phone and follow up by email.
Emergency Cancellation. In case of emergency or for reasons beyond the CMPA’s, CITY’s or UWF’s control, the CMPA and the CITY reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a Home Game prior to scheduled use without liability. Examples of such instances include but are not limited to: severe weather, fire, damage/destruction of the facility, local/state/national state of emergency. Refund of the Use Fee only will be made if cancellation is necessary.
