Weather Emergency Sample Clauses
The Weather Emergency clause defines the procedures and responsibilities of the parties in the event that severe weather conditions disrupt normal operations or performance under the contract. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes a weather emergency, the notification process, and any adjustments to deadlines or obligations that may result, such as extensions of time for project completion or temporary suspension of work. Its core function is to allocate risk and provide a clear framework for handling delays or damages caused by unforeseen weather events, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring both parties understand their rights and duties during such circumstances.
