EMERGENCY DUTY/INCIDENT MANAGEMENT. Pursuant to a Federal, State or local government Declared State of Emergency, the City may order any action necessary to xxxxx a threat or danger that it determines may be an imminent and substantial endangerment to human health, public safety, the general welfare of individuals or the environment because of an actual or impending disaster. In the event of a disaster or major incident, the Project Developer may be required to assist the City in response and recovery efforts to include sharing of information, partnering with the City for use of the Project Developer’s resources and coordination of any actions deemed necessary to augment the City’s response and/or recovery efforts, the Project Developer agrees to assist in disaster response and recovery efforts to the best of their ability and may be called upon to provide assistance at the Disaster Recovery Center, located at the City of Lakeland office or other designated location. The Project Developer further agrees that, under this agreement, suspension of its usual and customary activities as well as the activities defined under the scope of this agreement may be required. It also may be necessary for the City to reallocate federal funds designated to the Project Developer for the purposes of emergency situation management operations. Program funds will be reallocated to the Project Developer in the amount de-obligated under the suspension after the emergency management is declared completed.   • Emergency Duty 41.1 Where an employee is called on duty to meet an emergency at a time when the employee would not ordinarily have been on duty, and no notice of such call was given to the employee prior to ceasing ordinary duty, the employee will be paid for such emergency duty at the rate of double time.

  • Emergency Situation In the event of an emergency situation beyond our reasonable control, such as an "act of God," war, fire, or natural disaster, services involving your account could be available only in a modified or reduced form or could be entirely unavailable.   • Emergency Management The plan shall also address the assumption of operations of the program or facility by Department in the event of Contractor's bankruptcy or financial insolvency or if Contractor is unable to operate the facility.

  • Emergency Service Leave ‌ Where employees' services are required for emergency operations by request from the Provincial Emergency Program or appropriate police authority, leave from work as required may be granted without loss of basic pay. If any remuneration, other than for expenses, is received, it shall be remitted to the Employer.

  • Emergency Calls IP Phones need an additional power supply to operate. In the event of a power failure it is your responsibility to ensure you have the means to make emergency calls. In accordance with paragraph 13.2, we will not be liable for any loss or damage (financial or otherwise) where you fail to do so.

  • Emergency Situations If the condition is an emergency, this will be communicated to the Contractor with the request that corrections are to be accomplished immediately. The Contractor shall respond to the notice in emergency situations within twenty-four hours. If the Contractor fails to respond within this time limit, the Owner may correct the defect and charge the Contractor for the Work. If it is determined the complaint is not the responsibility of the Contractor, the Contractor shall be promptly paid for the cost of the corrective work. The Contractor shall give notice in writing to the Owner when corrections have been completed.

  • Emergency/Declared Disaster Requirements In the event of an emergency or if Orange County is declared a disaster area by the County, state or federal government, this Contract may be subjected to unusual usage. The Contractor shall service the County during such an emergency or declared disaster under the same terms and conditions that apply during non-emergency/disaster conditions. The pricing quoted by the Contractor shall apply to serving the County’s needs regardless of the circumstances. If the Contractor is unable to supply the goods/services under the terms of the Contract, then the Contractor shall provide proof of such disruption and a copy of the invoice for the goods/services from the Contractor’s supplier(s). Additional profit margin as a result of supplying goods/services during an emergency or a declared disaster shall not be permitted. In the event of an emergency or declared disaster, emergency purchase order numbers will be assigned. All applicable invoices from the Contractor shall show both the emergency purchase order number and the Contract number.

  • Emergency Call Out A call‐out shall occur when supervisory personnel specifically require an employee to perform emergency work outside the regular scheduled hours. All employees shall be paid two (2) times the regular rate of pay for all time worked during a call‐out for a minimum of two (2) hours up to a maximum of three (3) hours. All additional time worked over the three (3) hours emergency call‐out shall be at the regular overtime rate of pay of the employee. Anytime an employee on standby is monitoring the work of others they shall receive emergency call‐out pay.

  • Emergency Room Services This plan covers services received in a hospital emergency room when needed to stabilize or initiate treatment in an emergency. If your condition needs immediate or urgent, but non-emergency care, contact your PCP or use an urgent care center. This plan covers bandages, crutches, canes, collars, and other supplies incidental to your treatment in the emergency room as part of our allowance for the emergency room services. Additional services provided in the emergency room such as radiology or physician consultations are covered separately from emergency room services and may require additional copayments. The amount you pay is based on the type of service being rendered. Follow-up care services, such as suture removal, fracture care or wound care, received at the emergency room will require an additional emergency room copayment. Follow- up care services can be obtained from your primary care provider or a specialist. See Dental Services in Section 3 for information regarding emergency dental care services.
