Employee Contact. Reflects only those contacts which either improve or reduce effectiveness of the employees involved. It does not apply to an employee’s personal popularity or lack of it. Does the employee mind their own business but at the same time have a proper concern for the problems of other employees whose jobs touch theirs? Is the employee a disruptive influence? Does the employee bother or embarrass others with personal problems? Is the employee a positive influence on the morale of others?

Employee Contact. Subject to prior approval of the appointing authority or designee, Union-paid staff and Union stewards are permitted to meet with a represented employee during the employee's work hours on matters within the scope of representation. With the prior approval of the appointing authority or designee, investigation of grievances or pre-disciplinary investigations may be conducted on an employee's work time. Such meetings shall be held in non-public work areas, except that a Union staff member or xxxxxxx may observe work being performed in public work areas. Requests to meet for the above purposes shall not be consistently or unreasonably denied.

The Seller shall also provide the officers and authorized representatives of the Purchaser an opportunity to meet with the Seller’s employees located in Wooster who have technical and operational expertise with respect to the operations of the Branches for purposes of such employees providing technical or operational assistance to the Purchaser prior to the Closing Date.

The Union must first obtain authorization from the Employer as to an appropriate time for such contact. Permission for such contact shall not be unreasonably withheld.

Xxxxxxxx contact any employee who is currently employed by United Auto Credit Corporation or United Pan Am Financial Corporation during normal business hours for any reason. Should Xx. Xxxxxxxx maintain personal relationships with United Auto Credit Corporation or United Pan Am Financial Corporation employees outside of employment with the Company, Xx. Xxxxxxxx shall at no time discuss the terms of this Agreement with current employees of the Company.

An officer of the Association may act in-lieu of the paid representative upon prior arrangement between the paid representative and the County's Director of Human Resources.
