GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. Subject to the provisions of the teacher Due Process Act of 1990 and amendment by HB 2756 (2006), a probationary teacher may be dismissed or not reemployed for cause, A career teacher may be dismissed or not reemployed for the following statutory grounds:
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. Any Student may be permanently dismissed from Opportunity Junction for any one of the following: 1) disruptive behavior and/or a lack of common courtesy and respect for the instructor and/or his/her fellow Students; 2) behavior that could be interpreted as sexual harassment; 3) behavior that could be related to alcohol or drug use; 4) failure to pay fees when due; 5) failure to adhere to the dress code, and; 6) failure to maintain academic progress.
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. An employee may not be dismissed except for good and sufficient cause. 31.4.1 The loss by an employee of privileges to engage in professional practice (including, in the case of College of Medicine staff, the loss of hospital privileges) as the result of an action by an outside body empowered to take such action, shall not in itself be a sufficient reason for dismissal from the University. However, the Arbitration Committee shall not be precluded from receiving into evidence the facts and circumstances that led to the loss of professional privileges as establishing in whole or in part good and sufficient cause. 31.4.2 Failure to perform for reasons of proven ill health will not be grounds for dismissal provided that: (i) the employee makes every reasonable effort to rehabilitate herself or himself commensurate with the employee's physical and mental abilities. Utilization of the EAP shall be regarded as constituting a reasonable effort at rehabilitation; and (ii) the employee seeks and follows an active treatment program suitable for the illness or disability. Nothing in this section will be construed as changing the terms and conditions of the Academic Long Term Disability Plan for employees, (Article 22.5), and in particular, with the provision for alternate employment after two years on the Academic Long Term Disability Plan.
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. The Executive acknowledges and agrees that due to the significance of the matters addressed herein and the negative consequences that may follow a contravention of any of the terms hereof, a breach by the Executive of any of the Executive's obligations hereunder may result in the Executive's immediate dismissal and that such breach shall be deemed to be included in the definition of "Cause".
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. 1. The employer shall not terminate a salaried employee’s employment contract or lay off a salaried employee without grounds in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act. 2. When dismissals or layoffs are conducted on production-related or financial grounds, the measures shall, where this is possible, be targeted last at salaried employees who are required for specialist tasks or tasks that are essential for the company’s operations and at salaried employees who have partially lost their work ability while in the company’s employ. In addition, the duration of the employment relationship and the degree of the relevant salaried employee’s responsibility for supporting others are taken into account.

GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL. ABC Preschool and Daycare retains the right to dismiss any student for unsatisfactory conduct on campus or off campus. The delinquency of tuition or any other school fees shall also be ground for dismissal. ABC Preschool and Daycare retains the right to terminate enrollment if the student, parent(s), or guardian(s) do not comply with policies, rules or regulation of ABC Preschool and Daycare, specifically including, but not limited to all policies, rules and regulations specified in the ABC Preschool and Daycare Parent/Student Handbook. ABC Preschool and Daycare may also terminate enrollment if the student, parent(s), or guardian(s) fail to cooperate with faculty and administration.
