Falsification of Leave. Any leave of absence obtained through false representation, deceit, or fraud shall be cause for immediate discharge. Leaves of absence will not be granted for the purpose of working elsewhere which includes self-employment.

Falsification of Leave. Falsification of any leave is grounds for discipline up to and including termination of employment.
Falsification of Leave. Any bargaining unit member who falsifies a request for personal necessity leave shall be guilty of a violation of the Agreement and subject to appropriate discipline. 144 1. Employees may use up to five (5) days of paid leave of absence, or seven (7) days 145 if travel of more than two hundred (200) miles one (1) way is involved, if there is 146 a death of any member of their immediate family. This leave shall not be 147 deducted from sick leave and shall be taken to address emotional issues, attend 148 the services and any legal issues related to an immediate family member’s death. 149 2. Member of the "immediate family" is defined as the spouse, children (including 150 step, xxxxxx, in-law, and grand), parents (including step, xxxxxx, and in-law), 151 siblings (including step, xxxxxx, and in-law), grandparents (including step, xxxxxx, 152 and in-law), or any relative living in the immediate household of the employee. 153 3. Personal necessity may be used to extend bereavement leave.
Falsification of Leave. 9 Any bargaining unit member who falsifies a request for personal necessity 10 leave, or any other leave, shall be guilty of a violation of this Agreement 11 and subject to appropriate discipline.

  • Termination of Leave Interruption of pregnancy will terminate the leave. Human Resources may require in such cases forty-five (45) days’ notice to return.

  • Duration of Leave An eligible female employee may apply for pregnancy leave, to commence after the 22nd week of pregnancy for a duration of up to 17 weeks. The pregnancy leave of an employee who is not entitled to take parental leave ends on the later of the day that is seventeen weeks after the pregnancy leave began or the day that is six weeks after the birth, still-birth or miscarriage.

  • Abuse of Leave If it is found that a leave is not actually being used for the purpose for which it was granted, the Employer may cancel the leave and direct the employee to report for work by giving written notice to the employee.

  • Malicious Use of Orphan Glue Records Registry Operator shall take action to remove orphan glue records (as defined at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/en/committees/security/sac048.pdf) when provided with evidence in written form that such records are present in connection with malicious conduct.

  • Civil Rights A. Xxxxxxx agrees to comply with state and federal anti-discrimination laws, including: i. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. §2000d et seq.); ii. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794); iii. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. §12101 et seq.);

  • Personal Medical Leave 1. Accrued 100% sick leave may be used at the employee's discretion. Such leave may be taken before or after the vacation described in No. 3 below. 2. Accrued 75% sick leave may be used following use of all 100% sick leave at the employee’s discretion. Such leave may be taken before or after the vacation described in No. 3 below.

  • General Leave Notwithstanding any provision for leave in this Agreement, the Employer may grant a leave of absence without pay to an employee requesting leave for an emergency or other unusual circumstances. A leave of absence may also be granted for any other reason in which case approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. All requests and approvals for leave shall be in writing. Upon request, the Employer will give reasons orally for withholding approval.

  • Use of Leave An employee does not need to use this leave entitlement in one block. Leave can be taken intermittently or on a reduced leave schedule when medically necessary. Employees must make reasonable efforts to schedule leave for planned medical treatment so as not to unduly disrupt the employer’s operations. Leave due to qualifying exigencies may also be taken on an intermittent basis.

  • Civil Leave A. A bargaining unit member subpoenaed to appear in court for a work-related matter or serve on jury duty shall be granted leave without loss of pay. A copy of the court summons, subpoena, or letter from the court requesting the bargaining unit member’s presence must be submitted to administration. B. When a bargaining unit member is scheduled to be absent and such appearance in court is negated or the bargaining unit member is excused in such time to return to his/her work site for the remainder of his/her workday, then he/she is required to do so.

  • Extension of Leave 7 If an extension of the leave is required, a request for the extension must be 8 submitted in writing at least five (5) days in advance of the leave expiration 9 or as soon as practical. Consideration of an extension will be based on the 10 same criteria as the original request. Failure to return to work at the 11 expiration of the leave may result in termination.
