First Aid Allowances. Transit Operators possessing a Level 2 or 3 first aid certificate will continue to receive the premium for non-designated employees provided below. Non-designated employees authorized to receive First Aid Allowances. Level 2 21¢ per hour Level 3 24¢ per hour 15.03.1 When an employee is required to remain on site during their unpaid one half hour meal period in order to provide first aid coverage, they will receive a straight time allowance for the duration of the meal period.
First Aid Allowances. ‌ a) A regular employee in possession of a valid Level 1 First Aid Certificate and agrees to be designated as a Level I First Aid Attendant by an authorized representative of the Board shall be paid an allowance of forty ($.40) cents per hour. As of July 1, 2020, this allowance will increase to fifty ($.50) cents per hour. b) A regular employee in possession of a valid Level II First Aid Certificate and agrees to be designated as a Level II First Aid Attendant by an authorized representative of the Board, shall be paid an allowance of one ($1.00) dollar per hour. As of July 1, 2020, this allowance will increase to one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour. c) Where an employee is not willing or able to fill the position of First Aid Attendant, the responsibility will rest with the Board to provide adequate coverage. It is understood that First Aid Attendants are responsible for administering first aid to employees only, as defined by Health & Safety regulations. d) A regular employee who voluntarily agrees to be designated to obtain a Level I or II certification shall be paid for all time spent obtaining the certification. In addition, all course fees shall be paid for by the Board.
First Aid Allowances. A properly stocked first aid kit will be provided and continuously maintained for emergency use by employees. An employee who is qualified and rostered to regularly perform first aid duty, in addition to ordinary work, will be paid an allowance of $1.97 per day in addition to the remuneration rate paid as required by Clause 11.

First Aid Allowances. 2.10.1 A staff member appointed by the University as a First Aid Officer (in addition to their substantive position) who possesses a current St John’s Ambulance First Aid Certificate or equivalent qualification shall be paid a first aid allowance of $821.00 per annum. 2.10.2 A staff member appointed by the University as an Occupational First Aid Officer or a Senior First Aid Officer (in addition to their substantive position) who possesses the required qualifications shall be paid an Occupational First Aid or a Senior First Aid allowance of $1,235.00 per annum. 2.10.3 These allowances will be updated in accordance with the general percentage increases in salaries as set out in this sub-clause 2.1.2.
