Floating Mandatory Unpaid Time Off. (a) For agencies or programs designated by the Employer as non-closures, employees will have their choice of days off, subject to operating needs. In the event that an agency receives additional positions from the 11-13 Legislature, the Employer will notify the Union of those positions that are subject to float days. (b) Employees subject to floating mandatory unpaid time off will submit a mandatory unpaid time off request form to their supervisors in accordance with agency procedures for requesting paid time off. Where no specific provision exists, if there is a conflict in requested days off, that conflict will be resolved by granting the days off to the person who made the first request. Where specific provisions exist, vacation requests of more than one (1) day will be processed prior to requests for mandatory unpaid time off days. For simultaneous requests for mandatory unpaid days off and vacation requests for more than one (1) day, vacation requests will be processed prior to requests for mandatory unpaid time off. (c) Mandatory unpaid time off requests for the same days will be determined pursuant to the specific provisions contained in Article 66.1 – 66.5 and related Agency provisions. (d) In an effort to ensure that the scheduling of time off is distributed throughout the term of this Agreement, mandatory unpaid time off will be scheduled and taken no later than March 31, 2013. Employees will take no more than two (2) days in a work week. (e) Except for the closure days on April 19 and May 23, 2013, if the mandatory unpaid time off is not scheduled and taken by March 31, 2013, then management will schedule the employee to take the Mandatory Unpaid Time Off by May 31, 2013. In the event an employee has any mandatory unpaid time off obligation remaining after May 31, 2013, the employee’s July 1, 2013 paycheck for the June 2013 pay period will be reduced by the equivalent amount for the remaining mandatory unpaid time off days. (f) An employee is not eligible to receive unemployment benefits for the days taken as mandatory unpaid time off. Should an employee receive unemployment benefits, the Agency will automatically deduct from the employee’s paycheck the full amount of money that equals the dollar amount the employee received in unemployment benefits. The deduction shall be taken from one (1) paycheck. Related to Floating Mandatory Unpaid Time Off

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) During the Term, Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with Company’s policy in place from time to time; provided, however, that Executive shall be eligible to accrue no less than twenty (20) days per calendar year (with such amount prorated for the balance of 2017).

  • Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to take paid time off in accordance with the Company’s applicable paid time off policy for executives, as may be in effect from time to time.

  • Holiday Coinciding with a Day of Vacation Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation.

  • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.

  • Unpaid Leave Accrued compensatory time off may be used at the employee’s discretion, with management approval, after exhaustion of 100% sick leave (No. 3 above). However, FLSA compensatory time off shall not be counted against the employee’s four (4) month (nine [9] pay period [720 hours]) family or medical leave entitlement. Therefore, any use of FLSA compensatory time off under this Section shall extend the employee’s family or medical leave by the total amount of FLSA compensatory time off used.

  • Paid Sick Leave For those jurisdictions that have passed or will pass legislation requiring Paid Sick Leave, Paid Sick Time will be billed back to Client at the straight-time bill rate for all hours taken by any Consultant assigned to Client. This section is not applicable until the effective date of such legislation has been reached.

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Preference in Vacation (1) A preference in selection of vacation time shall be determined in each work group on the basis of service seniority by classification within that work group. (2) An employee shall be entitled to receive his/her vacation in an unbroken period. Employees wishing to split their vacation may exercise service seniority rights in their first choice within each vacation block. Seniority shall prevail in the choice of the subsequent vacation period, but only after all other first vacation periods have been selected.
