Formal - Supervisor. If the problem is still unresolved at the informal level, the written grievance must be submitted in writing to the aggrieved employee's Supervisor or designee, who may request clarification of the grievance at a meeting with the grievant and Association representative or may proceed straight to issuing a written disposition of the grievance. The formal written grievance shall set forth the Article allegedly violated, the facts constituting the alleged violation, the relief sought, the date of the incident of the alleged violation and the signature of the grievant. Within ten (10) work days after submission, the Supervisor shall provide the grievant with a written disposition of the grievance.

  • Formal Discipline Continued unsatisfactory behaviors, or committing offenses of such serious nature that requires immediate expulsion from work, are subject to the formal discipline process. Formal discipline may consist of any one or combination of the following:

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.
