Four Day Week Sample Clauses
Four Day Week. During July and August the work week may be compressed into four (4) days (with no reduction in normal work hours per week) for any group of employees by mutual agreement of the Board and Union each year, subject to appropriate legal approvals, if required. It is agreed that the principle to be followed is that the employee shall not lose or gain in relation to what he/she would receive if he/she were working the regular hours of work.
Four Day Week. The District may establish a ten (10) hour per day, forty (40) hour, four consecutive day workweek for all, or certain classes of its employees, for employees within a class or for certain specified employees, provided the establishment of such a workweek has the concurrence of the Association.
Four Day Week. 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of other articles of this Agreement, schools in which instruction is offered for only four days in a calendar week, shall be subject to the following:
a. Each day in which instruction is offered shall count as 1.25 instructional days;
b. The total instructional hours in the four day week shall not exceed 25 in an elementary school and not exceed 27.5 hours in a secondary school;
c. The four days in which instruction is offered shall be Monday through Thursday and shall not be altered without the consent of the teaching staff concerned.
2. Implementation of a four day instructional week shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Board and the Union.
Four Day Week. Full-time employees may work a four-day week (for a regular week’s straight-time pay) consisting of a maximum of nine and one-half (9 1/2) hours a day in a 37 1/2 hour week; provided there is prior agreement between the Company, the Guild and the employee.
Four Day Week. Should the production requirements of Mangrove Mountain fall to a level that makes the current shift arrangements uneconomic, the Employer has the right to implement a four day week roster for one or both shifts consisting of 9.5 hour shifts. Such a roster can only be implemented after the employees have been given one month notice of the change. It is not the intention of the Employer to require Employees to work overtime in association with such a roster. Should the Company decide to return to a Five Day week (7.6 hour shifts) the employees shall be provided with no less than one months notice of the change.
Four Day Week. DAY WORK
a) Operations at the Bennetts Green site are structured around a four (4) day week for employees covered by this agreement. In most cases this will entail 4 x 9.5 hour shifts worked on either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, subject to clause 24.2(b).
b) Where the needs of the business require employees to work a different spread of hours to those set out in clause 24.2(a) above, the relevant employees and their representatives will be consulted and with the agreement of the majority of the affected employees, will sign a document accepting the change to the roster conditions, which may include working their normal 38 hours over five (5) days.
c) Operations at the Heatherbrae (Jura Street) site are structured around a five (5) day week (38 hours in total) for employees covered by this Agreement.
