Full-Time Sick Leave. (i) Employees who have completed the probationary period shall be credited with sick credits equivalent to that which they would have accumulated since their date of employment and shall continue to accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of seven and one half (7½) hours for each month of service to a maximum of seventy-five (75) hours. The term “month” shall be defined as the two (2) week pay period in which the absence occurs and the two (2) week pay period immediately preceding the absence. Providing credits are available, Employees will be eligible to claim seventy percent (70%) of straight time wages with each credit for scheduled lost time due to illness for the first week of any one illness. Any sick days remaining in the Employees’ sick day banks at the end of the year shall be carried over to the following year. Effective April 1, 2021 Employees will be eligible to claim seventy-five percent (75%) of straight time wages with each credit for scheduled lost time due to illness for the first week of any one illness.

Full-Time Sick Leave. Employees who have completed the probationary period shall be credited with three (3) days of sick leave and shall then accumulate sick leave credits at the rate of 7.5 hours (1 credit) for each period of 162.5 hours paid, to a maximum of 105 hours (14 credits). Providing credits are available, employees will be eligible to claim one hundred percent (100%) of scheduled lost time due to illness for the first two (2) calendar weeks during any one illness.
Full-Time Sick Leave. All full-time employees shall be granted fifteen (15) sick days leave per calendar year at no loss of pay or vacation time. Full-time employees shall accumulate sick leave each year to a maximum of 200 days. At any time a full-time employee may, at no loss of pay, use all of their accumulated sick leave for personal illness. A doctor’s certificate may be required for all absences of an employee beyond three continuous days of absence. Such certificate shall include a statement that, in the professional opinion of the doctor, the absence of the employee was necessary. Absences beyond the full-time employee’s accumulated sick leave will result in a full loss of pay for the period of absence.

  • Full-Time Union Leave a. Employees accepting full-time employment with the Union as representatives of the employees covered by this Agreement will be granted an indefinite unpaid leave of absence by the Company. An employee on leave of absence for this purpose will retain and continue to accrue seniority.

  • Full-Time Nurse A nurse who is hired on a permanent basis and who normally works seven (7) hours per day on a thirty-five (35) hour week, normally Monday to Friday unless specifically hired to work an alternate schedule.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Full-Time Employees A full-time employee is one engaged as such and whose ordinary hours of work average 38 hours per week. The employee’s ordinary hours of work will not exceed an average of 38 hours per week over a 4 week period. Although the actual hours of work may vary from week to week, with some weeks greater than 38 hours and other weeks less, the employee will not work in excess of 152 ordinary hours in any four week period.

  • Full-Time Only During the year of the leave, seniority shall continue to accumulate. Service for the purposes of vacation and salary progression and other benefits will be retained but will not accumulate during the period of the leave.

  • Full-Time Employment Employees who are employed on a full-time basis will work 38 ordinary hours each week or an average of 38 ordinary hours each week over a cycle of shifts.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular full-time employee is defined as one in respect of whom there is a regular schedule of work providing 70 hours of work biweekly.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.
