Funeral Time Sample Clauses

Funeral Time a. In the case of death of spouse, child, stepchild, mother or father, an employee shall be entitled to five (5) consecutive work days off without loss of pay, provided at least one (1) of said days must be the day of the funeral. For a mother-in-law or father-in-law under the same roof as the employee, an employee shall be entitled to five (5) consecutive work days off without loss of pay, provided at least one (1) of said days must be the day of the funeral. (1) In case of death of sister, brother, xxxxxx child, grandchild or grandparent, an employee shall be entitled to three (3) consecutive work days off without loss of pay, provided at least one (1) of said days must be the day of the funeral. (2) In the case of death of a mother-in-law or father-in-law not living under the same roof as the employee, or any other relative under the same roof as the employee not covered in Sections 4.2(a) or 4.2(b)(1) above, the employee shall be entitled to three (3) consecutive work days off without loss of pay, provided at least one (1) of said days must be the day of the funeral. c. In the case of the death of a mother-in-law or father-in-law not living under the same roof as the employee, where extenuating circumstances exist requiring travel of over 250 miles, the employee shall be entitled to no more than two (2) additional consecutive work days off without loss of pay. d. In the case of an aunt or uncle, provided the employee attends the funeral, he/she shall be entitled to one (1) day off without loss of pay. e. Any funeral time to which an employee would be entitled under paragraphs 4.2(a), (b) and (c) above, that occurs during the employee's scheduled vacation period, will not be charged to vacation time, and the employee shall have his/her choice of substituting vacation time off with basic straight time pay.
Funeral Time. A. Any employee who is absent from work in order to attend the funeral of his wife, mother, father, sister, brother, mother­ in-law, father-in-law, child or grandparents shall receive pay for time thus lost, not to exceed two (2) days of eight (8) hours of pay per day in state; three (3) days out of state; provided however, the days missed are working days. One (1) of the designated days shall be the day of the funeral. The pay shall be regular work pay.
Funeral TimeAn employee with seniority who suffers a death in his family shall be entitled to funeral leave pay in accordance with the following: A. If the employee is absent from work because of the death of a parent, child, or spouse, he will be paid for the time lost from his regularly scheduled work shift up to a maximum of three (3) consecutive working days, one (1) of which is the day of the funeral. B. If the employee is absent from work to attend the funeral of his brother or sister, mother-in- law, father-in-law, or grandparents, he shall be paid for the time lost from regularly scheduled work shift by reason of such absence during a period of three (3) consecutive calendar days, one of which is the day of the funeral. The rate of pay will be his current straight time hourly rate. The Company may require upon their return to work verification of death and eligibility of deceased from employees requesting payment under provision of this Article.
Funeral Time. An employee will be paid regular straight-time hourly rate of pay when absent during scheduled work hours because of the death of a member of that employee’s immediate family: spouse, child, step-child, father, mother, sister, brother, father-in-law, mother in-law, grandfather, grandmother, or grandchild provided: (i) Absence does not exceed three (3) days; and Absence does not extend past the funeral day; except when the deceased is a spouse, child or parent, the employee will be allowed the three (3) days of absence, even though the time off extends past the funeral day. Exceptions: If the burial is out of town beyond 200 miles, an extra one (1) day will be allowed for travel. If an immediate family member dies while an employee is on scheduled CTO, the employee is eligible to receive these benefits instead of using CTO time, provided the employee: Notifies the Company prior to the funeral Attends the funeral

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one-hour increments.

  • Additional Time If because of events beyond the Design Professional’s reasonable control, it is not able to meet the specified time period, then it should be entitled to ask the Owner for additional time, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Eastern Time Upon receipt of Instructions, and upon your determination that there are good funds with respect to Instructions involving the purchase of shares, you will calculate the net purchase or redemption order for each Portfolio.

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.

  • Crib Time (i) When an Employee is required to work overtime after the usual ceasing time for the day or shift for two hours or more, he/she shall be allowed to take, without deduction of pay, a crib time of twenty minutes in duration immediately after such ceasing time and thereafter, after each four hours of continuous work, he/she shall be allowed to take also, without deduction of pay, a crib time of 30 minutes in duration. (ii) In the event of an Employee remaining at work after the usual ceasing time without taking the crib time of twenty minutes and continuing at work for a period of two hours or more, he/she shall be regarded as having worked twenty minutes more than the time worked and be paid accordingly.

  • Sick Time An employee shall have all of his/her accrued sick leave credits transferred when the employee is transferred to a different State agency.

  • Christmas Day Melbourne Cup Day (or alternative days in regional areas);

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.
