FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. A. In the case of the death of a member of the immediate family of a regular employee, the employer will, when requested in advance, grant a maximum of three (3) days (twenty-four hours) paid leave of absence, and in no case will the paid leave of absence extend beyond the day immediately following the day of the funeral.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. Leave with pay is provided for the regular full time and regular part time employees upon the death of a member of the employee's immediate family. Family for purposes of granting funeral leave is defined as: spouse, parents, children, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, sons-in-law, and daughters-in-law of either the employee or the employee's spouse. In the event of the death of a step-parent, step-brother or step-sister, leave must be approved by the appropriate Department Director before funeral leave may be taken. The allowable funeral leave time is a maximum of twenty- four (24) hours for regular full time employees and twelve (12) hours for regular part time employees. Fifty-six (56) hour personnel are provided 33.60 hours. Leave taken in excess of the allowable funeral leave time may be charged against the employee's sick leave credits. Leave to attend the funeral of a friend or relative, other than immediate family as specified above, will be charged to accrued annual leave or leave without pay when no annual leave is available.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. Funeral leave pay shall be based on ten (10) hours daily pay at the employee's regular straight time rate, for a maximum of three (3) days, one of which must be the day of the funeral, providing that all such days paid for would have been the employee's regular scheduled work days. Pay will be straight time even though one of the days of leave occurs on an overtime day.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. 26-1 In the event of the death of (1) an employee's spouse, or (2) other qualified adult with whom the staff member shares living accommodations and expenses, or (3) the son, daughter, parent, grandparent, brother, sister, grandchildren (or the spouse of any of them), of either the employee or their spouse or other qualified adult or (4) any other related person living in the employee's household, an employee who attends the funeral or service shall be granted time off work with pay (maximum of eight [8] hours a day at their hourly rate plus shift or special schedule premium, if applicable). The amount of time off work with pay shall be only that which is required to attend the funeral or service and/or make necessary funeral or service arrangements, and (prior to or subsequent to the funeral or service) financial, custodial, or other necessary arrangements for surviving family member, but in no event shall it exceed three (3) work days.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. In the event o f the death of a regular full-time employee’ s spouse, child, parent, sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in- law, grandparent, grandchild, or any other relative residing with the employee, the employee shall be allowed a maximum of three (3) days’ leave with pay. If the funeral is two hundred (200) miles or more from the employee’s home, an additional day of leave with pay shall be allowed. Provided, that no em ployee shall be paid more than a full week’s pay because of a funeral leave, and an employee must attend the funeral or devote time to same to be eligible for funeral leave (or pay).
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. 22-1 In the event of the death of (1) an employee’s spouse, or (2) other qualified adult (OQA) non-related person living in the employee’s household, or (3) the son, daughter, step child, step parent, parent, grandparent, brother, sister, grandchild (or the spouse of any of them), of either the employee or the employee’s spouses/OQA, or (4) any other related person living in the employee’s household, an employee who attends the funeral or service shall be granted time off work with pay. The amount of time off work with pay shall be only that which is required to attend the funeral or service and/or make necessary funeral or service arrangements, and (prior to or subsequent to the funeral or service) financial, custodial, or other necessary arrangements for surviving family members, but in no event shall it exceed three (3) normally scheduled work days.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. In the case of the death of a member of the immediate family of an employee, the employee shall be granted a maximum of three (3) consecutive workdays off with straight time pay to attend the funeral and to attend to administrative details. Members of the immediate family shall be the spouse, children, stepchildren, xxxxxx children, parents, stepparents, xxxxxx parents, father-in-law, mother-in-law, brothers, sisters, half brothers, half sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons- in-law, daughters-in-law, grandparents, grandparents of spouse, grandchildren, whether of natural relationship or legally adopted or under legal guardianship, of the employee. In the case of the death of the spouse or children the employee will be granted one (1) additional consecutive workday off with pay. Employees who request will be granted a maximum of two (2) additional days off without pay if extensive travel is required to attend the funeral.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. 14.1 In the event of the death of a spouse, parent. Child, brother, sister or grandparent, the Employer shall grant Full-time employees time off with pay from the date of the death until and including the date of the funeral not to exceed three (3) working days, In the event of the death of a mother-in-law or father-in-law, the time period between the date of the death and the date of the funeral.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. Section 1: All employees will be allowed three (3) four (4) days off , with pay, in the event of death of a spouse, parent or child. Three (3) days off , with pay, in the event of death of a sister, brother, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, step-parents or any other relative who is an actual member of the immediate household.
FUNERAL LEAVE PAY. 1. To be eligible for funeral leave pay, employee must have completed his probationary period.
