Relationships with business and industry are core to SAIT. Our instructors are industry experts. Our programming evolves through an industry lens. We work with organizations around the world to deliver corporate training solutions and we work with industry partners to create commercial solutions through applied research. The speed of change affecting the world of work is massive — and our shared ability to respond is essential. Our goal for the next five years — and beyond — is to navigate change collaboratively. Together, we will develop the bench strength required to build our economy and ensure SAIT graduates are not only ready to succeed in the jobs of tomorrow but to create them. SAIT’s strategic plan is about supporting the economy indirectly through the education we provide to our students and the services that SAIT provides to the community such as research support through our Applied Research and Innovation Services, our youth initiatives that assist high school students to explore potential careers and in all programs connecting directly with industry through our program advisory committees to ensure the education that we are providing meets the current and future needs of employers. SAIT continues to offer programming that employers value when hiring SAIT graduates. SAIT annually surveys employers on their satisfaction with our graduates. The satisfaction is measured by the question “Would you hire a SAIT graduate again?”. The response rate is consistently in the plus 95 percent range. SAIT is expanding current programs where there is high demand by both employers and students for graduates and we are continually surveying the business environment for new program areas. SAIT meets the demand for skilled employees through three parts of the institution.   • Service Management Effective support of in-scope services is a result of maintaining consistent service levels. The following sections provide relevant details on service availability, monitoring of in-scope services and related components.

  • Official Personnel File Only one (1) official personnel file shall be kept for each employee at the appropriate personnel office. Records of previous discipline not found in the official personnel file cannot be used against an employee in any future disciplinary proceeding. Grievances shall not be kept in the employee’s official personnel file. Employees shall be informed as to where their personnel file is maintained.

  • Partnership Representative The Members shall take all reasonable actions to avoid the application to the Company of the centralized partnership audit provisions of sections 6221 through 6241 of the Code, as amended by the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015. If, however, such provisions are found to apply to the Company, a member of the Manager or another appointed individual shall act as the Partnership Representative for the purposes of IRS Code section 6221 through 6241. In the event the member of the Manager is no longer a Member in the Company, and no other individual has been appointed as the Partnership Representative, the Partnership Representative shall be the Majority Interest owner from amongst the Members. If the Majority Member is unable or unwilling to serve, the Partnership Representative shall be appointed from amongst the remaining Members by a Majority of Interests of the Members. The Partnership Representative shall be authorized and required to represent the Company with all examinations of the Company’s affairs by tax authorities, including resulting administrative and judicial proceedings. The Partnership Representative shall have the sole authority to (1) sign consents, enter into settlement and other agreements with such authorities with respect to any such examinations or proceedings and (ii) to expend the Company’s funds for professional services incurred in connection therewith. In the event of an adjustment resulting in an underpayment of tax, the Partnership Representative shall duly and timely elect under section 6226 of the IRS Code that each Person who was a Member during the taxable year that was audited personally bear any tax, interest, addition to tax, and penalty resulting from such adjustments and, if for any reason, the Company is liable for a tax, interest, addition to tax, or penalty as a result of such an audit, each Person who was a member during the taxable year that was audited shall pay to the Company an amount equal to such Person’s proportionate share of such liability, as determined by the Manager, based on the amount each such Person should have borne (computed at the rate used to compute the Company’s liability) had the Company’s tax return for such taxable year reflected the audit adjustment. The expenses for the Company’s payment of such tax, interest, addition to tax, or penalty shall be specially allocated to such Persons in such proportions. The Partnership Representative shall have the final decision-making authority with respect to all federal income tax matters involving the Company. The Members agree to cooperate with the Partnership Representative and to do or refrain from doing any or all things reasonably required by the Partnership Representative to conduct such proceedings. Any reasonable direct out-of-pocket expense incurred by the Partnership Representative in carrying out its obligations hereunder shall be allocated to and charged to the Company as an expense of the Company for which the Partnership Representative shall be reimbursed.

  • Compliance Monitoring Grantee must be subject to compliance monitoring during the period of performance in which funds are Expended and up to three years following the closeout of all funds. In order to assure that the program can be adequately monitored, the following is required of Grantee: a. Grantee must maintain a financial tracking system provided by Florida Housing that ensures that CRF funds are Expended in accordance with the requirements in this Agreement. b. Grantee must maintain records on all awards to Eligible Persons or Households. These records must include, but are not limited to: i. Proof of income compliance (documentation from submission month, including but not limited to paystub, Florida unemployment statement, social security and/or disability statement, etc.); ii. Lease; and iii. Documentation of rental assistance payments made.

  • Access to Personnel File Each employee shall have reasonable access to his/her personnel file for the purpose of reviewing any evaluations or formal disciplinary notations contained therein, in the presence of the Director of Personnel or designate. An employee has the right to request copies of any evaluations in this file.

  • Performance Monitoring ‌ A. Performance Monitoring of Subrecipient by County, State of California and/or HUD shall consist of requested and/or required written reporting, as well as onsite monitoring by County, State of California or HUD representatives. B. County shall periodically evaluate Subrecipient’s progress in complying with the terms of this Contract. Subrecipient shall cooperate fully during such monitoring. County shall report the findings of each monitoring to Subrecipient. C. County shall monitor the performance of Subrecipient against the goals, outcomes, milestones and performance standards required herein. Substandard performance, as determined by County, will constitute non-compliance with this Contract for which County may immediately terminate the Contract. If action to correct such substandard performance is not taken by Subrecipient within the time period specified by County, payment(s) will be denied in accordance with the provisions contained in this Paragraph 47 of this Contract. D. HUD in accordance with 24 CFR Part 570 Subpart O, 570.902, will annually review the performance of County to determine whether County has carried out its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) assisted activities in a timely manner and has significantly disbursed CDBG funds and met the mandated “1.5 ratio” threshold. Subrecipient is responsible to ensure timely drawdown of funds.
