GRADUATE STIPEND. 16.1 Each member of the bargaining unit shall be paid the following amounts per semester hour take on the graduate level for each year of the three (3) year contract (2011-2014). 1st year: $75 2nd year: $75 3rd year: $75 Maximum number of hours to be included under this policy shall be twelve (12) semester hours from September 1 to August 31. 16.2 The courses taken shall be in the field of certification of the employee or in other work approved by the superintendent of schools. This payment shall be paid to the teacher by November 30th of the school year following the receiving of credit courses taken. A teacher must teach in xxx Xxxxxxx Ferry City Schools the year following receiving this credit to be eligible to be paid under this provision. GRADUATE STIPEND. 30.1 The Board agrees to provide educational incentive funds for qualified certificated/licensed staff members in an amount up to $10,000.00 each year during the term of this Master Agreement. (a) The funds will be applied towards graduate courses taken during the year (July 1 - June 30) and paid the following September for those certificated/licensed staff members returning for the next school year. To be eligible, the graduate courses must be taken in the certificated/licensed member's field of certification/license or related to educational development. (b) Payments will be prorated on the basis of total semester hours reimbursable. 30.2 Collection Process - Each qualified certificated/licensed staff member seeking an educational incentive must complete the Graduate Stipend Application to which a copy of a grade slip and fee receipt showing the number of hours earned must be attached.

  • Stipends Bargaining unit members may qualify for stipends for advanced degrees which are "in-field." Employees who held out-of-field stipends on the date of contract ratification by the BTU for the 1994-95 school year shall be allowed to continue to receive said stipends until they leave the employment of the District.

  • Outplacement Assistance 12.1 Following a termination of employment, other than for Cause, the Executive shall be reimbursed by the Company for the costs of all outplacement services obtained by the Executive within the two (2) year period after the Effective Date of Termination; provided, however, that the total reimbursement shall be limited to an amount equal to twenty percent (20%) of the Executive’s Base Salary as of the effective date of termination.

  • Developer Compensation for Emergency Services If, during an Emergency State, the Developer provides services at the request or direction of the NYISO or Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer will be compensated for such services in accordance with the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • School Year Teacher assignable time will be capped at 1200 hours per school year.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Compensation for Consulting Services For each quarter (i.e., three-month period) that Executive provides consulting services to MediciNova pursuant to the option of MediciNova contained in Section 9 above, MediciNova shall pay Executive a sum equal to fifteen percent (15%) of Executive’s annual Base Compensation which shall be applicable at the time of Executive’s termination of employment with MediciNova (prorated for any period of less than a quarter). The parties expressly agree that when Executive is performing consulting services for MediciNova, Executive is acting as an independent contractor. Therefore, Executive shall be solely liable for Social Security and income taxes that result from Executive’s compensation as a consultant. In addition, Executive shall not be entitled to any other benefits including, without limitation, such group medical, life and disability insurance and other benefits as may be provided to employees and/or executives of MediciNova.
