Observation Conferences a) A pre-observation conference shall occur between the evaluator and the teacher not less than three (3) working days prior to each formal observation unless both parties agree otherwise. At the pre- observation conference, the teacher may provide evidence for the work situation to be observed.
Observation Conferences. 1. All formal observations must be preceded by a pre-observation conference between the evaluator and the teacher within 5 working days. At the pre- observation conference teachers shall provide evidence for the work situation to be observed and evidence will be recorded on the OTES rubric.

Observation Conferences. All observations shall be preceded by a pre-observation conference between the credentialed evaluator and the teacher within five (5) working days of the scheduled evaluation. At the pre-observation conference, teachers shall provide evidence for the classroom situation to be observed on the pre- observation form in Appendix B and the parties shall agree to the date, class, and/or prep for the observation. A post-observation conference shall be held after each observation on a full evaluation cycle year. The post observation conference shall take place within ten (10) working days following the formal observation. During the less frequent evaluation cycle, a post conference is available upon request.

A copy of the written observation report shall be given to the employee at the post- observation conference. An employee may request a formal observation at any time in addition to those required by this procedure.

The post-conference, which should follow within ten (10) working days of the first formal observation, will provide the teacher and his/her evaluator an opportunity to discuss the observations notes and collaboratively decide on one (1) focus area, which will become the focus of the second formal observation; the teacher, in consultation with his/her evaluator, may revise or amend the teacher’s PGP at this time, or at any time deemed appropriate in during this evaluation cycle. The post-conference following the second formal, or any subsequent, observation(s) will provide the teacher and his/her evaluator an opportunity to discuss the observations notes and determine progress and/or growth in the identified focus area.
Observation Conferences. If a written report is prepared of any class visit or observation a copy will be provided to the employee. Employees at their option will be entitled to a conference to discuss said report. No observation report will be submitted to the central office, placed in the employee's file or otherwise acted upon without prior conference and the employee given an opportunity to sign the report.

Each temporary and probationary employee shall be observed by his/her site administrator, or immediate supervisor a minimum of two (2) times per year in his/her working environment at varying times of the day and in varying types of activities, prior to completion of each summative evaluation report. One (1) of these observations must be made by appointment.
