Implementation of Decision. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon both parties and shall invoke immediate compliance by the parties. Any money due an employee as a result of such decision shall be paid not later than two (2) weeks following the receipt of a written decision to this effect. It is recognized by the parties that certain rights of appeal of decisions exist.
Implementation of Decision. If a job is modified resulting in a higher pay grade, the rules for salary adjustment under Schedule “A” will apply. • the effective date of the higher pay grade will be the date that the Manager and employee agree that the change in job duties occurred. • the effective date will be 20 days prior to the earliest of the date that the:
a) employee(s) validated an employer initiated review
b) appeal form was completed by the employee(s) and submitted to their Manager
c) job was due to be reviewed under Article 18.02(3)

The unit member whose position is reclassified shall be placed on the step and range of his/her new classification that provides at least a five percent (5%) salary increase. Any recommendation for a change in the job description shall be subject to negotiation between CSEA and the District.
Implementation of Decision. 19.6.1 The reclassification shall be effective July 1st following the decision. Employees who are performing out of class duties shall be compensated for those out of class duties until the effective date of their reclassification.
19.6.2 The reclassified incumbent(s) shall retain the previous step provided the salary increase is at least five percent (5%). When the highest step of the new range is not five percent (5%) greater than the unit member’s current salary, the unit member shall be placed on the highest step of the new range. Those employees whose reclassification does not provide at least five percent (5%) salary increase, shall be moved to a higher step on the Appendix A salary schedule in order to receive at least five percent (5%).
19.6.3 When a unit member is reclassified, the District will provide them with a new job description within thirty (30) calendar days.
19.6.4 Any recommendation for a change in the job description shall be subject to negotiation between CSEA and the District.
Implementation of Decision. The final decision of the arbitrator shall be implemented as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after the final decision is rendered.
Implementation of Decision. When discipline is imposed, a copy of the order shall be served upon the employee either personally, or by registered or certified mail, return receipt requested, at the last known address on file with the City. The order shall include:
a) A statement of the nature of the discipline imposed;
b) The effective date of the discipline;
c) A statement of the causes for the discipline;
d) A statement of the specific facts or omissions upon which the discipline is based; and
e) A statement advising the employee of his/her rights to appeal the disciplinary action. This statement shall include the manner and time within which an appeal must be taken, and the required content of the appeal notice.

If no agreement exists, the effective date will be 20 days prior to the date the submission for review was submitted in writing. When a job is not significantly changed but is reclassified to a lower salary grade, only the Income Protection provision in Article 6.07 will be applied.
Implementation of Decision. 20.5.1 The unit member whose position is reclassified shall be placed on the step and range of his/her new classification that provides as close to a five percent (5%) salary increase as is possible and not less than four and one half percent (4.5%) unless the highest step of the new range is not five percent (5%) greater than the unit member’s current salary. When the highest step of the new range is not five percent (5%) greater than the unit member’s current salary, the unit member shall be placed on the highest step of the new range.
20.5.2 When a unit member is reclassified, the District will provide him/her with a new job description within thirty (30) days.
