Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate. (b) An Employee who works on an afternoon or night shift which does not continue for at least five successive afternoons or nights must be paid for such shift at time and a half for the first two hours thereof and double time thereafter. (c) An Employee who: (i) during a period of engagement on shift, works night shift only; (ii) remains on night shift for a longer period than four consecutive weeks; or (iii) works on a night shift which does not rotate or alternate with another shift or with day work so as to give the Employee at least one third of their working time off night shift in each shift cycle; must, during such engagement, period or cycle, be paid 30% more than their ordinary rate for all time worked during ordinary working hours on such night shift.
Relocation Allowance An employee who is promoted and required by agency policy to relocate his residence shall be granted time off with pay for one workday for this purpose. In addition, the employee shall be granted travel time to the new location based on the most direct route. No employee will be credited with more than the number of hours in the employee’s regular workday and such time shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing compensatory time or overtime.
Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:
- Separation Allowances (a) Where an employee resigns within 30 days after receiving notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of continuous service to a maximum of twelve (12) weeks' pay, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of three thousand ($3,000) dollars. (b) Where an employee resigns later than 30 days after receiving notice pursuant to Article 9.08(a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of four (4) weeks' salary, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of one thousand two hundred and fifty ($1,250) dollars."
Travel Allowances There shall be no payments for travel expenses, travel time, subsistence allowance or other such reimbursements or special pay except as expressly set forth in this Agreement.
Allowances 25.1 Site allowances shall be paid in accordance with the allowances set out in Appendix C, or as determined by the Disputes Panel pursuant to the provisions of Appendix C.
Capital Allowances 4.1 If any pool of assets (that is, all those assets whose expenditure would be taken into account in computing whether a balancing charge would arise on disposal of any other of these assets) or any asset not in such a pool, of the Company or any Subsidiary were disposed of at Completion for its book value as shown in, or adopted for the purpose of, the Accounts, or for the value of consideration actually given for it on its acquisition (if such asset were acquired since the Accounts Date), no balancing charge under Capital Xxxxxxxxx Xxx 0000 (CAA 2001) (or any other legislation relating to capital allowances) or similar clawback of relief in jurisdictions outside the UK would be made on the Company or that Subsidiary. 4.2 No event has occurred since the Accounts Date (otherwise than in the ordinary course of business) whereby any balancing charge may fall to be made against, or any disposal value may fall to be brought into account, by the Company or any Subsidiary under CAA 2001 (or any other legislation relating to capital allowances) or similar legislation relating to relief for similar capital expenditure in jurisdictions outside the UK. 4.3 The Disclosure Letter contains details of: (a) all expenditure incurred since the Accounts Date in respect of which allowances can be claimed under Parts 2 and 3 of CAA 2001; (b) all capital allowances to which the Company is entitled under Chapter 14 of Part 2 of CAA 2001; (c) any claim for first-year tax credits within the meaning of Schedule 1A of CAA 2001 or for business renovation allowances under Part 3A of CAA 2001; and (d) all expenditure incurred on the provision of or replacement of integral features within the meaning of section 33A of CAA 2001. 4.4 The Company has not and no Subsidiary has made any claim for capital allowances in respect of any asset which is leased to or from or hired to or from the Company or a Subsidiary and no election affecting the Company or any Subsidiary has been made or agreed to be made under Sections 177 or 183 CAA 2001 in respect of any such assets. 77
Increases Not later than 2:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the second (2nd) Business Day prior to a proposed borrowing, Borrower shall provide the Funding Agent with written notice of each Advance in the form set forth as Exhibit II-A hereto (each, a “Borrowing Notice”). The Funding Agent shall promptly provide each such Borrowing Notice to the Co-Agents. Each Borrowing Notice shall be subject to Section 6.2 hereof and, except as set forth below, shall be irrevocable and shall specify the requested increase in Aggregate Principal (which shall not be less than $5,000,000 or a larger integral multiple of $100,000) and the Borrowing Date and the requested Interest Rate and Interest Period for any portion to be funded by any Committed Lender. Upon receipt of a Borrowing Notice, (a) each Unaffiliated Committed Lender severally agrees to fund a Loan in an amount equal to its Percentage of the requested Advance specified in such Borrowing Notice, and (b) each Co-Agent shall determine whether its Conduit will fund a Loan in an amount equal to its Conduit Group’s Percentage of the requested Advance specified in such Borrowing Notice. If a Conduit declines to make its Percentage of a proposed Advance, Borrower may cancel the Borrowing Notice as to all Lenders or, in the absence of such a cancellation, the Advance will be made by each Unaffiliated Committed Lender, each other Conduit and such Conduit’s Committed Lenders. On the date of each Advance, upon satisfaction of the applicable conditions precedent set forth in Article VI, each applicable Lender will cause the proceeds of its Loan comprising a portion of such Advance to be deposited to the Funding Account, in immediately available funds, no later than 2:30 p.m. (New York City time), an amount equal to (i) in the case of a Conduit or an Unaffiliated Committed Lender, its Percentage of the principal amount of the requested Advance or (ii) in the case of a Conduit’s Committed Lender, each such Committed Lender’s Pro Rata Share of its Conduit Group’s Percentage of the principal amount of the requested Advance. The Funding Agent shall remit such funds (to the extent received in the Funding Account) to the Facility Account, no later than 4:00 p.m. (New York City time) on such date.
Other Allowances The District shall pay to each teacher appointed by the District to the following positions, the allowance respectively set forth opposite each such position, namely: (a) Supervisor 23,305 (b) Consultant 11,103 (c) Coordinating teacher 3,771
Moving Allowance With the prior approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee concerning reimbursable costs, employees involuntarily transferred to a new job location fifty miles or more from the employee’s old residence than the old residence was from the old job location shall be reimbursed for receipted moving expenses, as provided in the IRS guidelines. For the purposes of this section, promotions and the exercise of any bumping option shall be considered as a voluntary transfer. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee, employees may be reimbursed for moving expenses. 9.6.1 If an employee, whose moving expenses (all or a part) have been paid, resigns within one calendar year of the move, the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee may require the employee to reimburse the Agency for a portion of the moving expenses, based on the length of time the employee worked after the move. 9.6.2 Employees who have been involuntarily transferred or have exercised bumping rights to another geographical location of the State shall be allowed up to twenty-four hours of time off with pay for the purpose of attending to their personal affairs in their present location and establishing their personal affairs in their new location. Such time off from work must be approved in advance by the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.
