Informing Employees. New employees shall be provided with a copy of the rules at the time of hire and a copy will be initialed by the employee and returned to the Employer.

Informing Employees. The Employer further agrees to furnish each employee in the bargaining unit with a copy of all existing work rules thirty (30) days after they become effective. New employees shall be provided with a copy of the rules at the time of hire. ENFORCING: Employees shall comply with all existing rules that are not in conflict with the terms of this Agreement, provided the rules are uniformly applied and uniformly enforced.

Informing Employees. All current employees shall be fully informed of this Program and the Town of Fairfield Employee Assistance Program (EAP) prior to implementation and all employees hired after the effective date of this agreement shall be fully informed of this Program and the EAP prior to their first duty shift. The information on this Program shall include how tests are conducted, how employees are randomly selected, the reasonable suspicion standard, what the tests can determine and the consequences of testing positive for drug or alcohol use. Prior to any testing, employees shall be required to sign the consent and release attached to this collective bargaining agreement as Attachment I.

Informing Employees. The City further agrees to furnish each employee in the bargaining unit with a copy of all new work rules within thirty (30) days after said rules become effective. New employees shall be provided with a copy of the rules at the time of hire.
