Instructional Days. Except for summer quarter, there will be a minimum of 50 (+ two) instructional days (or equivalent) per quarter exclusive of examination/evaluation and non- instructional days.
Instructional Days. Instructional day(s) means any day(s) pupils are present for instruction.
Instructional Days. 9.2.1 There will be a total of 180 instructional days at all instructional levels in the regular TK-12 program of the District. The total number of workdays, instructional and non-instructional, in the regular work year for the full-time employees in this bargaining unit, except Around the Bell teachers, shall be 187 days. See Exhibits J-1 and J-3.
9.2.2 The work year for high school counselors, including the continuation high school counselor, shall be fifteen (15) days in addition to the regular work year. The work year for middle school counselors shall be six (6) days in addition to the regular work year. The number of work days for counselors may be increased by mutual agreement of the District and the Association. The work year for the head nurse shall be four (4) days in addition to the regular work year.
9.2.3 Nurses may be requested to work during pre-registration days at the discretion of the District.
Instructional Days a. The Board and the Association are desirous in complying with the state requirements to reach than the minimum number of pupil instructional days for each of the school years covered under this agreement.
b. School calendar are attached in Appendix A at the end of the contract.
c. Any changes in the student-teacher workday will be negotiated before implementation.
Instructional Days. The structure of the teacher workday in which students participate will be different from the traditional school day, in that for both elementary and secondary teachers, the expectation is 7:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. (6-hour day includes a 30-minute paid lunch and at least one (1) duty-free 10-minute paid break).
Instructional Days. No employee shall be required to work more than 182 student instructional days.
Instructional Days. Days described as part of the Board approved annual Xxxx County Schools Calendar designated for student attendance.
Instructional Days. The CEO will conduct an assessment, in consultation with relevant stakeholders including parents and principals, to determine whether to recommend that the Board of Education add instructional days to the school year based on students’ academic needs.
