JURY OR WITNESS DUTY PAY. .01 A member who is subpoenaed for jury or crown witness duty will receive for each day of absence thereof the difference between the member's regular pay computed at the member's base hourly rate and the amount of jury or witness fee received, provided that the member furnishes the Employer with a certificate of service signed by the Clerk of the Court showing the amount of jury or witness fee received.

  • Jury or Witness Duty An employee who is not a party to the action and who is absent in compliance with a summons for jury duty or a subpoena requiring the employee to appear in court as a witness shall be excused with pay for the period during which the employee is absent on scheduled days because of such jury service or court appearance. The Employer shall pay such an Employee the difference between normal earnings and the payment received for jury service or court witness, excluding payment for traveling, meals or other expenses. The Employee will present proof of service and the amount of pay received. Time spent by an Employee required to serve as a court witness in any matter arising out of her employment, shall be considered as time worked at the appropriate rate of pay.

  • JURY DUTY AND WITNESS PAY 21.1 All employees shall be granted leave with pay and without loss of any benefits of their employment, to serve as a juror in State or Federal court or witness as a consequence of their official duties in response to subpoena or similar service issued out of a State or Federal Court, subject to the following provisions:
