Jury or Crown Witness Duty. (a) The Employer will pay an Employee their normal hourly earnings for the day(s) spent serving Jury Duty, provided proof of a subpoena for Jury Duty or proof of Jury service has been given to the Employer, and the Employee remits to the Employer the cheque they received from the Court for participating in Jury Duty or Jury Service.

Jury or Crown Witness Duty. Employees required to act as jurors or crown witnesses shall be granted a leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority or benefits for this purpose. The Employer shall pay the employee his/her full basic wage or salary for the period of such service provided that the employee shall turn over to the Employer the full amount of compensation received for said service, excluding payment for travelling and meals, and provided the employee presents to the Employer proof of service and the amount of payment received.
