Level 2-Immediate Supervisor. Within fifteen (15) days of the occurrence, or within fifteen (15) days of when the faculty member could reasonably have known of the occurrence of the act or omission giving rise to the grievance, the grievant must present his/her grievance to the Immediate Supervisor in writing on the District-provided form. The grievance shall contain a clear and concise statement of the grievance, the circumstances involved, the decision rendered at the informal conference, and the specific remedy sought. The Immediate Supervisor shall communicate a decision to the faculty member in writing within ten (10) days after receiving the written grievance. Within the foregoing time limit, either party may request a conference to discuss the grievance.

Level 2-Immediate Supervisor. In the event the grievance is not resolved within ten (10) days of the Level 1 discussion, the grievance may be reduced to writing using the Official Grievance Form, stating the facts giving rise to the grievance and identifying the provisions of this Agreement which have been violated, stating how it believes the Agreement had been violated, relief sought, signed by the aggrieved, and delivered to the aggrieved immediate supervisor. The written grievance shall be delivered no later than 3:30 p.m. on the 16th day following the first occurrence of the facts giving rise to the grievance. Within ten (10) work days of receiving the written grievance form, the aggrieved bargaining unit member and the immediate supervisor (together with the appropriate Director, if the Director is not the bargaining unit member’s immediate supervisor) and a representative of the Association shall meet to discuss the matter in an effort to resolve it. The immediate supervisor shall provide a written response to the Aggrieved within five (5) days of the grievance meeting.

  • Immediate Supervisor The first (1st) District-designated supervisor or manager not within the same bargaining unit who has immediate jurisdiction over the grievant.

  • Supervisor Within ten (10) business days from the occurrence of the matter on which a complaint is based, or within ten (10) business days from his/her knowledge of such occurrence, an employee shall file a formal written grievance.   • Professional Development Days Upon request, each Employee shall be granted at least three (3) professional development days annually for professional development, at the Basic Rate of Pay. An Employee shall be advised, prior to taking any professional development days of any transportation, registration fees, subsistence and other expenses that will be paid by the Employer. Such hours not used in each fiscal year shall not be carried forward into subsequent years. Applications for such paid professional development opportunities shall be made in writing, to the Employer as early as possible.

  • Project Director The individual designated by the juvenile board or Chief Administrative Officer, who is to be responsible for the administration and coordination of grant funds in accordance with this Contract ,, the general grant requirements, and applicable Targeted Grant requirements.

  • Management Grievance The Employer may initiate a grievance at Step 3 of the grievance procedure by the Employer or designate presenting the grievance to the President of the Union or designate. Time limits and process are identical to a union grievance.

  • Petition for Annual Conference Session The Local Church acknowledges that pursuant to the governing standing rules of the Annual Conference, petitions for consideration of the legislative body must be submitted to the Secretary of the Annual Conference on or before April 1 of the current Annual Conference year. The Annual Conference will make reasonable efforts to assist the Local Church in completing the required petition, which will include this Disaffiliation Agreement as an attachment thereto making it subject to public review. If the petition is not filed in a timely manner, the Parties will make good faith efforts under the standing rules of the Annual Conference to cooperate to bring the petition to the legislative floor for consideration by appropriate motions to suspend the standing rules for the purposes of considering the petition.
