Level One – Informal Meeting. When a bargaining unit member(s) or the Union believe(s) a grievable event has occurred, and if it is to be grieved, the affected employee(s) or the Union shall request a meeting with the immediate supervisor in an effort to resolve the matter informally. The meeting must be requested within thirty (30) days following the grievable event, or (if the grievable event could not have been detected) within thirty (30) days following the time when it might have been detected, but in no event later than sixty (60) days following the grievable event. The immediate supervisor shall meet with the grievant and the Union within ten (10) days following the request for an informal meeting. If the matter is not promptly and satisfactorily resolved pursuant to this informal step, a written grievance may be filed as provided in Level Two (below).|

Level One – Informal Meeting. The grievant shall first discuss the grievance with his/her immediate supervisor within nine calendar days of when he/she knew or should have known of the circumstances which form the basis of the grievance. Both parties shall seek to resolve the matter informally.
Level One – Informal Meeting. 1. A grievance shall be initiated with an informal meeting between the responsible supervisor and the grievant or in the case of multi-teacher grievance between the responsible supervisor and an Association representa- tive. 2. Such meeting(s) shall take place within thirty (30) days after the teacher knew or should have known of the cause of the grievance. 3. In the event that the grievant is not located in the same community as the responsible supervisor a letter mailed by the grievant within thirty (30) days after the grievance shall be in lieu of the initiation of the informal meeting and a written response from the responsible supervisor shall be mailed within seven (7) days after receipt of said letter. 4. If not satisfied at Level One, the grievant shall submit the grievance to the Association for evaluation. The Association must represent all grievants processing grievances beyond Level One.

  • Pre-Disciplinary Meeting The College will schedule a pre-disciplinary meeting to permit the faculty member to respond to a notice of intent to discipline. At the beginning of any pre-disciplinary meeting, the College will describe its proposed discipline and the general reasons for issuing the proposed discipline.

The CAM will determine the appropriate meeting participants. o The administrative portion of the meeting will involve a discussion with the CAM and the CAO of the following Agreement closeout items:  Disposition of any state-owned equipment.  Need to file a Uniform Commercial Code Financing Statement (Form UCC-1) regarding the Energy Commission’s interest in patented technology.  The Energy Commission’s request for specific “generated” data (not already provided in Agreement products).  Need to document the Recipient’s disclosure of “subject inventions” developed under the Agreement.  “Surviving” Agreement provisions such as repayment provisions and confidential products.  Final invoicing and release of retention. • Prepare a Final Meeting Agreement Summary that documents any agreement made between the Recipient and Commission staff during the meeting.

  • Annual Meetings The Annual Meeting of Stockholders for the election of directors shall be held on such date and at such time as shall be designated from time to time by the Board of Directors. Any other proper business may be transacted at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

  • Disciplinary Meetings In the event a meeting is held for disciplinary purposes, the affected employee shall have the right to have a Union xxxxxxx and/or Union representative present.

  • ATTENDANCE AT MANDATORY MEETINGS/SCHOOL EVENTS Where an employee is required through clear direction by the board to attend work outside of regular working hours, the provisions of the local collective agreement regarding hours of work and compensation, including any relevant overtime/lieu time provisions, shall apply. Required attendance outside of regular working hours may include, but is not limited to school staff meetings, parent/teacher interviews, curriculum nights, Individual Education Plan and Identification Placement Review Committee meetings, and consultations with board professional staff.
