LICENCE TO OCCUPY. The University permits You to occupy the Accommodation and to use the furniture and furnishings within it until this agreement ends. You have permission to use the facilities and communal areas of the Hall and if applicable, your Flat in common with the University and the other students of the University until this agreement ends.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 You are entitled to occupy the Accommodation provided that you comply with the terms of this Agreement.
2.2 You shall occupy the Accommodation as a licensee and no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the Licensor and the Licensee by this Agreement.
2.3 An inventory will be prepared by the Licensor prior to your occupation. You have 3 days from occupation in which to raise any queries about the contents of the inventory. Your silence will be taken as your agreement to the contents of the inventory. The inventory will be relied on by the Licensor when you move out of the Accommodation.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 The University agrees to grant and the Student agrees to accept a licence to occupy the Accommodation with the benefit of the Rights for the Licence Period on the Terms set out in this Agreement.
2.2 This Agreement constitutes a temporary revocable licence between the University, as Licensor, and the Student, as Licensee. If the Student is in serious or persistent breach of these Terms, the University may cancel and revoke this Agreement and take any other appropriate referrals for disciplinary action and/or take any other appropriate legal action. This Agreement can be terminated by the Student only under the Terms specified herein.
2.3 Whilst the University has offered the Student Accommodation, and will use its reasonable endeavours to locate the Student there, the University does not guarantee that the named Accommodation will be available in all cases. If the named Accommodation is not available, the University will offer the Student alternative accommodation of an equivalent or better quality at the same price.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 In consideration of the Charge and subject to Clause 3 and Clause 4, Xxxxxxx permits the Student to occupy the Accommodation for the Permitted Use for the Licence Period in common with Xxxxxxx and all others authorised by Xxxxxxx (so far as is not inconsistent with the rights given to the Student to use the Accommodation for the Permitted Use) together with the right for the Student to use :
2.1.1 such parts of the Common Parts for the purpose of access to and egress from the Accommodation as shall from time to time be designated by Xxxxxxx for such purpose.
2.1.2 the Common Facilities
2.1.3 the Service Media serving the Accommodation.
2.2 The Student acknowledges that:
2.2.1 the Student shall occupy the Accommodation as a licensee and that no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between Xxxxxxx and the Student by this Licence;
2.2.2 Xxxxxxx retains control, possession and management of the Accommodation and the Student has no right to exclude Xxxxxxx from the Accommodation;
2.2.3 the licence to occupy granted by this agreement is personal to the Student and is not assignable;
2.2.4 without prejudice to its rights under Clause 5, Xxxxxxx shall be entitled at any time on giving not less than 3 days' notice to require the Student to transfer to alternative accommodation elsewhere within the College and the Student shall comply with such requirement whereupon this Licence shall apply to the new accommodation once all necessary consequential changes have been made
2.3 If Xxxxxxx agrees in writing to allow the Student to remain in occupation of the Accommodation or any other equivalent accommodation within the College during a Vacation the Student's occupation shall be governed by the terms of this Agreement once all necessary consequential changes have been made subject to the payment of the Charge (at the Rate determined on a daily basis) for each day when the Accommodation or equivalent accommodation is occupied by the Student. The rate for occupation of non-equivalent occupation shall be that notified by Xxxxxxx on acceptance of the Student's application for Vacation residence.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. The Licensee acknowledges that:
(a) the Licensee shall occupy the Premises as a licensee and that no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the Managing Trustees and the Licensee by this licence;
(b) the Managing Trustees retain control, possession and management of the Premises and the Licensee has no right to exclude the Managing Trustees from the Premises;
(c) the licence to occupy granted by this agreement is personal to the Licensee and is not assignable and the Rights (if any) may only be exercised by the Licensee its employees and its invitees;
(d) without prejudice to their rights under clause 5, the Managing Trustees shall be entitled at any time on giving not less than 14 days' notice to require the Licensee to transfer to alternative space elsewhere within the Building and the Licensee shall comply with such requirement.
(e) the Licence Fee is inclusive of the Utility Costs that the Managing Trustees anticipate will be attributable to the Licensee’s use of the Premises and any Common Parts during the Permitted Hours (“Licensee’s Utility Contribution”) such contribution to be determined by the Managing Trustees absolutely.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 Subject to clause 3 and clause 5, the Licensor permits the Licensee to occupy the Property for the Permitted Use for the Licence Period in common with the Licensor and all others authorised by the Licensor (so far as is not inconsistent with the rights given to the Licensee to use the Property for the Permitted Use) together with the rights mentioned in Schedule 1.
2.2 The Licensee acknowledges that:
2.2.1 the Licensee shall occupy the Property as a licensee and that no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the Licensor and the Licensee by this licence;
2.2.2 the Licensor retains control, possession and management of the Property and the Licensee has no right to exclude the Licensor from the Property;
2.2.3 the licence to occupy granted by this agreement is personal to the Licensee and is not assignable and the rights given in clause 2 may only be exercised by the Licensee; and
2.2.4 without prejudice to its rights under clause 5, the Licensor shall be entitled at any time on giving not less than 28 days’ notice to require the Licensee to transfer to alternative space elsewhere within the Property and the Licencee shall comply with such requirement. LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 Subject to clause 3 and clause 4, the Licensor permits the Licensee to occupy the Land for the Permitted Use during the Licence Hours for the Licence Period together with the rights mentioned in Schedule 1.
2.2 The Licensee acknowledges that:
(a) the Licensee shall occupy the Land as a licensee and that no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the Licensor and the Licensee by this licence;
(b) the Licensor retains control, possession and management of the Land and the Licensee has no right to exclude the Licensor from the Land;
(c) the licence to occupy granted by this agreement is personal to the Licensee and is not assignable and the rights given in clause 2 may only be exercised by the Licensee and its employees, contracted providers; and Customers
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 3.1. Subject to paragraph 4 and paragraph 9, the Property Owner permits the Guest and the members of the Guest’s party as listed on the Pre-Check-In Form or equivalent provided by the Guest to occupy the Property for the Licence Period in common with UnderTheDoormat (and all others authorised by UnderTheDoormat (so far as is not inconsistent with the rights given to the Guest to use the Property)) together with the right for the Guest to use:
(a) such parts of the Common Parts as is necessary for the purpose of access to and egress from the Property;
(b) the Furnishings;
(c) the Service Media serving the Property.
3.2. The Guest acknowledges that:
(a) the Guest shall occupy the Property as a licensee and that no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the Property Owner and the Guest by this Licence;
(b) UnderTheDoormat shall undertake the sole management of the Property during the Licence Period, including (but not limited to) the cleaning of the Property;
(c) the Property Owner retains control and possession of the Property, and the Guest has no right to exclude the Property Owner or UnderTheDoormat (and any persons authorised by UnderTheDoormat) from the Property;
(d) the licence to occupy granted by this Licence is personal to the Guest and is not assignable. The rights given in paragraph 3 may only be exercised by the Guest;
(e) the Property Owner and UnderTheDoormat shall retain keys to the Property during the Licence Period, and the Property Owner and UnderTheDoormat (and any persons authorised by UnderTheDoormat) reserve their right (acting reasonably) to use these keys and enter the Property at any time during the Licence Period; and
(f) the Guest must provide electronic copies of passport details or such other form of identification as UnderTheDoormat reasonably requires for all members of the Guest’s party prior to check-in and must provide the same original identity documents for inspection on check-in if required to do so.
(g) the Guest is responsible for the actions of all members of the Guest’s party during the Licence Period.
(h) The Guest must provide the credit, debit or other payment card used to pay for the Booking at check-in. If the Booking was made on a card belonging to another person, the Guest must ensure that the cardholder who paid for the Booking provides signed written confirmation of their agreement to pay for the Booking to UnderTheDoormat prior to check-in. LICENCE TO OCCUPY. 2.1 The Congregation CONSENTS to the User using the Premises for the Charge at the Time of Use on the terms and conditions following.
2.2 The User acknowledges that:
(a) no relationship of landlord and tenant is created between the parties;
(b) the Congregation retains control, possession and management of the Premises and the User has no right to exclude the Congregation (or others authorised by the Congregation) from the Premises at any time so long as its beneficial use of the Premises is not impeded or prevented;
(c) the licence to occupy governed by these Terms and Conditions is personal to the User and not assignable in whole or in part to another party. The rights given in Clause 2.1 may only be exercised by the User and its employees and permitted visitors.
LICENCE TO OCCUPY. Upon payment of the appropriate deposit and Licence Fee as hereinafter set out, the Licensee shall be permitted to occupy the Premises described in schedule 1 on foot of this Licence Agreement on a non exclusive basis and subject to the Terms and Conditions hereof. This Licence Agreement shall expire at the end of the period in respect of which the Licence Fee has been paid unless it has been revoked earlier as hereinafter provided. The Licensee shall pay the Licence fees in accordance with the dates outlined on the 2017/2018 schedule of rental fees which is published on xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx. If the account and any other charges or fines are outstanding at the end of September, the account will remain outstanding and the room will become forfeit within two days of receipt of notice from CLS. Any outstanding Licence Fee will be sent to a debt collection agency at the cost of the Licensee.
