Local Training. Employees participating in training who reside within the approved local commuting area shall be expected to commute to the training site daily. If the distance to the training site exceeds the approved local commuting area, the employee shall be entitled to mileage from their residence or duty station to the training location. The claim shall be submitted in accordance with local travel procedures.
Local Training. The partnership councils’ agenda will address training and career development programs. The councils will address training issues such as: a. orientation sessions for new employees b. in-service or on-the-job training to improve the employeescapability to perform their current jobs
Local Training. Members working under this agreement will attend local training programs pertaining to the light commercial, residential, and service work performed under this agreement. Each classification will attend 80 hours of training at the local training center where they reside. The 80 hours of training will be mandatory for each 2000 hour classification in order to proceed to the following step in the wage increases. The employer can recommend that the journeyman take journeyman update classes pertaining to the light commercial, residential and service work.

Local Training. Whenever practicable, reasonable travel time, not to exceed two (2) hours in total, shall be included in an employee’s scheduled work shift when the employee is assigned in an alternate work location for training only. An alternate work location is that location other than the employee’s bid reporting location. Should it be impracticable to include reasonable travel time within an employee’s scheduled shift when assigned to an alternate work location for local training, the employee shall be compensated at the one and one-half (1½) overtime rate for reasonable travel time from the employee’s bid reporting location to the alternate school/training location. If an employee is attending training on the employee’s RDOs, travel time is not included, as the employee is not reporting to the employee’s bidded location to start work. Employees attending training/school shall not receive compensation for rest breaks and lunches.

  • Staff Training 3.3.5.1 The CONTRACTOR shall provide regular and ongoing comprehensive training for CONTRACTOR staff to ensure that they understand the goals of Centennial Care 2.0, including the integration of physical, Long-Term Care and Behavioral Health, the provisions and limitations of the ABP and the requirements of this Agreement. As issues are identified by the CONTRACTOR and/or HSD, the CONTRACTOR shall provide timely and targeted training to staff. 3.3.5.2 The CONTRACTOR shall provide an initial orientation and training as well as ongoing training, including training targeted to different types of staff, to ensure compliance with this Agreement. Including targeted training regarding: 3.3.5.2.1 Care Coordination; 3.3.5.2.2 Nursing Facility Level of Care Determinations; 3.3.5.2.3 Setting of Care Submissions; 3.3.5.2.4 Community Benefit Services and Supplemental Questionnaire; and

  • Safety Training Pursuant to Missouri Revised Statute Section 292.675, Contractors and subcontractors who sign a contract to work on public works projects must provide a 10-hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Contractors and subcontractors in violation of this provision will forfeit to the public body $2,500 plus $100 a day for each employee who is employed without training. Public bodies and contractors may withhold/assess these penalties from the payment due to those contractors and subcontractors if found to be in non-compliance.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.
