PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. 25.1 WEEKEND PREMIUM
(a) Employees whose regular schedule requires work on a Saturday and/or Sunday shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for work performed at regular rates on a Saturday and/or Sunday.
(b) Payment of the weekend premium does not apply to Employees who have a Flexible Work Schedule in place (as per Article 20.9).
PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. 24.01 The salary for a full Teaching Assistantship identified in Schedule A shall be paid in arrears in sixteen (16) semi-monthly installments, commencing in September. For appointments of less than a full Winter Session, the same principle of semi-monthly payments shall apply on a pro rata basis.
24.02 The Employer shall not make deductions from the salary unless authorized by statute, court order, arbitration order, by this Agreement or by agreement between Employer and employee.
24.03 When an employee is required by the Supervisor to use his/her privately owned vehicle in the discharge of his/her duties as a Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or Marker, he/she shall be paid the University mileage allowance in accordance with University Policy #83. This specifically excludes travel between the employee's place of residence and the University campus.

(b) Notwithstanding Article B 7.01(a), it is recognized that certain transactional appointments may be paid hourly. Examples of such appointments include: markers, additional hours under B 4.01(e) and B 4.01(f), and appointments of less than forty-eight (48) hours within a four (4) week period.
(c) For employees paid hourly, pay does not include vacation pay which is to be provided in paid time off. Where paid time off is not provided, vacation shall be paid as additional pay in lieu, and may be provided on each payroll deposit or at the end of the term.

Additional pay for higher duties, overtime, ground and training allowance and incidentals allowance described in clause 3, language allowances described in clause 22, and meal allowances described in clause 8 of Part A of this Agreement will be paid by the second pay date after the additional pay is triggered or claims (where applicable) are received. On the 29th day of a 56 day bid period, an employee will be paid any additional hourly pay accrued in accordance with clause 3.5 in respect of the previous bid period. For 28 day bid periods, this process will occur 29 days after the end of the bid period. In either scenario, a negative pay adjustment may be made where an employee has rejected pay protection or has been removed from a duty in accordance with clause 3.13. Where negative pay adjustments occur for the rejection of pay protection or removal from a duty in accordance with clause 3.13, it will only occur where the actual (or projected) hours allocated to the employee in a bid period are less than their planned roster hours from roster build for that bid period (excluding any hours reduced from the exchange of duties).

PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. 17.1 Salaries of Flight Attendants on permanent hire may be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly by electronic funds transfer. Salaries will be paid into an account of the Flight Attendant’s choice in a bank, building society, credit union or other recognised financial institution and shall be available on the Company’s nominated pay day.
17.2 The salary of a casual Flight Attendant must be paid daily or as agreed between the Company and the Flight Attendant.
PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. (a) Wages shall be paid by Electronic Funds transfer fortnightly (i.e. in arrears) into an account nominated by the Employee. The Pay Period is from Monday to Sunday. Payments will be transferred to the Employee’s nominated account on the Wednesday unless there are circumstances beyond the control of the Employer.
(b) Council may change the Pay Period and the day on which payments are made. Any change will be subject to the Consultation process in clause 2.1and will not occur until the Employees have received at least four (4) weeks’ notice.
(c) Council will not be held responsible, where there are circumstances outside of the control of the Employer, for any bank fees or penalties (e.g. late, default or overdraft fees or charges) incurred by an Employee. To avoid this, Employees should arrange for any deductions to take place on the Monday after the pay day (which is currently the first Wednesday following the end of the Pay Period).
PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. The annual salary and any applicable allowances are paid in full satisfaction of a Teacher’s entitlements for the School Year or a proportion of the School Year. The Teacher’s absence from School during Non-term Weeks is deemed to include their entitlement to annual leave.

PAYMENT OF SALARY AND ALLOWANCES. Annual salaries, and any meal, call out allowances, overnight allowances and/or any reimbursements applicable to the preceding calendar month, will be paid monthly by electronic transfer into Australian financial institution account(s) nominated by the pilot.
